𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗘𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗯?
What I enjoy most about using the Entertainment and Media Hubs is the environment. It’s calm, focused, and filled with people building real things.

As a producer, I’m constantly thinking about stories, budgets, logistics, clients, impact, so being in a space where innovation is happening around me shifts my mindset. It reminds me that what we’re building in film and media also sits inside a bigger ecosystem of tech, policy, and social change.

I also appreciate that it’s not chaotic. I can sit down, think clearly, plan properly, and actually execute. That matters to me.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗠𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 & 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮?
Through my work as a film and TV producer, I tell stories that reflect who we really are, especially women.

A lot of my projects sit at the intersection of culture, gender, and social realities. Whether it’s a narrative film like Seed or a documentary or commercial project, I’m intentional about how women are portrayed and how our experiences are framed.

I care about telling stories that feel honest.
Beyond that, I contribute to the industry itself, building production systems, creating jobs on set, mentoring younger crew members, and proving that African productions can be both impactful and technically solid.

SEED by @enakadia and @themuhammadatta has been officially selected to screen at the 10th edition of UNRELEASED.

Seed is a psychological drama about Nnenna who is consumed by the longing for a son after having daughters. She turns to a spiritualist’s ritual involving three sacred mornings seeds. When her youngest child swallows the final seed, she spirals.

Jumoke Azeez is a Nigerian film producer based in Lagos with a growing portfolio of work across short films, TV commercials, documentaries, and music videos.

She produced the acclaimed short film SEED and has managed productions for major brands, including the Dettol Cool commercial featuring footballer Taiwo Awoniyi. Beginning her career as a model before transitioning into film, Jumoke quickly established herself in production through her strong problem-solving and people management skills. She is passionate about telling gender-equitable stories and developing impactful content that resonates with both local and international audiences. by @jumoke__azeez

Our final class reminds us that even in the chaos, God creates with calm and purpose.

We’re excited to introduce @jumoke__azeez, producer of the film SEED, as the facilitator for “The Beautiful Chaos of Filmmaking: How to Be Calm in the Storm of Cinematography.”
