So happy to be back designing! This is Flock which is on at the @brocjacktheatre from 29th September to 3rd October. It’s an important and moving play about growing up in the care system, written by Lin Coghlan.

A big shout out to director Jim Pope, producers Rhian Davies & Chris Elwell and the whole @playingon_ company for their support in accommodating my health issues. They’re a role model for other companies. Also of course to my amazing Associate Designer @ameliakyriacoudesign .

It’s BACK! Gaza Formula Fund are organising another auction, to raise money to provide baby formula, nappies and other vital aid to babies and young children in Gaza.

Had a wonderful 3 days of workshopping last week. The last of my DYCP project. Was lucky enough to have 3 amazing performers to play with - @sekechim @loreaburge & @laure_dubanet

It’s impossible to convey their brilliant inventiveness on here, the images are just a few snatches of what we did.

Thanks are due to @lilgracewoods who stepped into the breach at the last minute when we needed an extra person for a day.

Also thanks to @emmabernard728 for her consistently gentle and encouraging support.

STAGE DESIGNERS AUCTION FOR GAZA LIVE FROM 16TH OCTOBER FOR 2 WEEKS

Over 100 leading theatre designers auction over 170 unique pieces of work to support children and families in Gaza.

In an unprecedented show of solidarity, more than 100 of the UK's celebrated theatre designers are donating original artwork, sketches and scale models to raise vital funds for babies and children in Gaza.

Stage designers Georgia Lowe and Miriam Buether have brought together an extraordinary collection of signed work from leading designers including Bunny Christie, Tom Scutt, Kinnetia Isidore, Tom Pye, Richard Hudson, Ben Stones, John McFarlane, Vicky Mortimer, Anna Fleischle, Bob Crowley, Mark Thompson, Nicky Gillibrand, Tim Hatley, Ian MacNeil among many others.

The online auction will feature original drawings, costume designs, scale models and prints from acclaimed productions including SIX, Guys and Dolls (The Bridge), Operation Mincemeat, Totoro, Oliver, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Billy Elliot, Nye, Prima Facie, Cabaret, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Waiting for Godot on Broadway.

Thanks so much to everyone for your encouraging and supportive response to my last post.

After 7 months of treatment for life changing ill-health and 2 months of beginning to build back my strength I am about to start one of the most exciting parts of my DYCP funded project. 2 days in a rehearsal room with some brilliant performers! Can’t wait to flex my creative brain again. And of course I always enjoy making sure I have the right notebooks for the task!

So grateful to #artscouncilengland for making this project possible
