When Sony invited me to participate in campaign of the new Sony Alpha 7R VI, I knew wanted to create something that felt timeless and cinematic, I wanted to make art.

We spent 4 weeks searching for the right face, one could embody mood, strength, and mystery. We eventually auditioned Elaine @noiqute and found her perfect for the role. She was the centerpiece, without her we would have to change the key elements of the shoot.

I got together with June @junegoh_fx and her team, spending 4 weeks designing the costume, planning the set, and figuring out how every detail would work together to tell one visual story.

We had to get nearly 4,000 roses to create an overwhelmingly beautiful, intensely immersive world. It was breathtaking seeing them installed. The concept was no longer just an idea, it had become reality.

When shoot day finally arrived, the team came together and gave everything they had. For four intense hours, we photographed and filmed relentlessly, chasing every detail, every fold of fabric, every expression, every angle of light.

These images are the result of many conversations, problem-solving sessions, and the dedication of a team that believed in the vision from day one.

A huge thank you to Sony South East Asia for trusting me with this opportunity and for giving us the creative freedom to bring this concept to life. It was an honor to contribute to the launch of the new camera and to create work that celebrates the power of emotion and collaboration.

To everyone involved, thank you. We made a beautiful thing.

I also want to specially thank the unsung heroes of this campaign, @studiothreesixteen for the space, flexibility and generosity. Also, the Forza 720, the brightest spotlight recommended by @Seahster in the Nanlite @nanlite_global lineup that gave us f/2, 1/60s, ISO100.

Check out some more frames and clips as we're thrilled that our three films have been recognised as part of Sumsub's overall campaign with multiple award wins.

Through the brilliant 'The Beast' concept by Crowd, electriclime° produced the comedy films in Singapore, directed by Daniel Marjan.

The campaign aimed to highlight Sumsub’s vision to bring a safe, accessible, and inclusive digital future for users and businesses alike.

At the w3 Awards, the campaign picked up two gold and four silver awards, including for Online Video and B2B - Branded Content.

Meanwhile, at the Muse Creative Awards, The Beast campaign picked up three Golds and a Silver, including Video - B2B.

We had the incredible opportunity to work on 3 Amazon Audible commercials for Partizan with director Antione Bardou-Jacquet in Bangkok in March. With a crazy turnaround (not just for us, but for everyone involved) of just a few weeks, we produced several prosthetic characters for 1 shoot, hair and make-up for the second one and regular make-up for the third one.
With a great Thai team lead by @QFX we were able to pull this off. More picture to follow soon.
