This one started with a vivid dream of Chang’e and Hou Yi while attending a virtual production filmmaking exchange masterclass by @auxmediagroup @auxinfinitestudios in Korea. A special thank you to my friend @bunzbox , who we met during the masterclass and we were roommates in Korea when I had that vivid dream of Chang’e and Hou Yi. Having you on board from the very beginning makes it especially meaningful.

Thank you for showing up when I needed help most, even with so much on your own plate. From finding the words for what I hoped to express to bringing together the people behind the music, you gave this film more care than I could have asked for. I have so much respect for your musical craftsmanship and attention to detail, even more for the friendship behind it🤍

Thank you also for introducing me to @prodby.hwang who did the composing, arranging, mixing and mastering the OST, together with the recording studios who helped bring it all to life. Grateful for the work all and the effort ✨

And Kylyn, thank you for bringing this beautiful postcard visuals to life as a poster, and for your patience and care through every refinement 🙆

这个故事，始于一场关于嫦娥与后羿的梦。那时，我正在韩国参加由 @auxmediagroup 举办的虚拟制作电影交流大师班。梦里的画面，在醒来后依然清晰，也成了《如月之恒》最初的灵感。

《如月之恒》ETERNAL MOONLIGHT

This Mid-Autumn, I’m happy to share the official trailer for my film - a personal reimagining of the legend of Chang’e, the moon goddess, and Hou Yi, the legendary archer.

It began with a dream that stayed with me after waking and bringing that fantasy to life took more than I imagined.

We welcomed two wonderful actors from Taiwan to join us at the Aux-Infinite Studios' volume stage in Singapore. It meant a lot to have you all here, and I hope you took home some good memories from our time filming together.

To our cast, crew and everyone who helped along the way, thank you for your trust, patience and care. I’m eternally grateful that we got to make it together. Also, a big thank you to IMDA for supporting this project.

Reunited on the moon, two lovers face a darkness that threatens to separate them once more. How far would you go to save the person you love?

I look forward to sharing the full film with you in due time.

IT’S A WRAP on The Errand 2.0… and nobody has asked about tracking markers 🤪 so that’s a win! 😆

After 1.5 decades in production, one thing remains true - technology evolves, budgets flex, schedules are just guidelines… but a great team still make the impossible look easy.

This was our first virtual production shoot. The opportunity to play with a new toy is just another excuse for us, Story Builders, to level up. The LEDs are impressive, but the people behind them are the real magic.

To the team that turned long days, last-minute fixes, and controlled chaos into something worth watching - thanks ya’ll. The audience will see the finished frames. We’ll remember the sweat, the problem-solving, and the moments between takes.

Here’s to staying dilligent, embracing new workflows, and proving once again that filmmaking is still a team sport.

What a pleasure to have been working with this bunch in the first quarter of this year. It was a tremendous learning experience on my first VP project “The Errand 2.0”. Continue to follow @verytaymedia for more updates on the project. Meanwhile, I thought it was apt that we had some Moire on all the pictures in this post 🤪. The only time it is allowed. Lol.

When Sony invited me to participate in campaign of the new Sony Alpha 7R VI, I knew wanted to create something that felt timeless and cinematic, I wanted to make art.

We spent 4 weeks searching for the right face, one could embody mood, strength, and mystery. We eventually auditioned Elaine @noiqute and found her perfect for the role. She was the centerpiece, without her we would have to change the key elements of the shoot.

I got together with June @junegoh_fx and her team, spending 4 weeks designing the costume, planning the set, and figuring out how every detail would work together to tell one visual story.

We had to get nearly 4,000 roses to create an overwhelmingly beautiful, intensely immersive world. It was breathtaking seeing them installed. The concept was no longer just an idea, it had become reality.

When shoot day finally arrived, the team came together and gave everything they had. For four intense hours, we photographed and filmed relentlessly, chasing every detail, every fold of fabric, every expression, every angle of light.

These images are the result of many conversations, problem-solving sessions, and the dedication of a team that believed in the vision from day one.

A huge thank you to Sony South East Asia for trusting me with this opportunity and for giving us the creative freedom to bring this concept to life. It was an honor to contribute to the launch of the new camera and to create work that celebrates the power of emotion and collaboration.

To everyone involved, thank you. We made a beautiful thing.
