This was a special one!🥉
This Saturday Jonkershoek enduro went down, absolutely great day of racing.
I couldn't be happier on how the podium turned out, standing along side my friends. Well done @michard_meets 🥇 and @marc_fourie1 🥈 it was such an epic day riding with you guys, glad I could almost keep up.😉

What do you want to know about hiking in the Grand Canyon? #tbt

Pic 1- Views are next level....pictures will never do her justice @veronegrobler I mean it justice 😉
Pic 2- How do you spot a SA boykie? Easy, plakkies en n kort broek🇿🇦
Pic 3- Colorado rivier shaped the GC, notice the color before it enters the canyon
Pic 4- There are 2 sides to the canyon, north rim & south rim. North is closed for winter camping but open for day visits. It is more dramatic and more sheer cliffs
Pic 5- Weather in fall is unpredictable and chilly(sub 5°C)
Pic 6- Met some like minded people from Washington state and had a great time with them hiking in the snow🇺🇲
Pic 7- Attempted reverse summiting the canyon in one day, big changes in temp from top to bottom
Pic 8- Veroné looking like she thought it was deeper....1500+meter drop in around 10km one way. It's a lot.
Pic 9- Now all the way back before sunset. Legs feeling it. How about that pic🤩
Pic 10- Layers upon layers upon golden hour goodness👌 if you look closely you can see the trail zigzag down the canyon

Accidentally did a triathlon this past weekend... had to jog my memory to remember how to do this stuff. Good fun with the fam and friends🤙 taken in Stilbaai, Western Cape by @juridebruyn

Adventure racing this past weekend went a bit better than we planned. We accidentally took the overall 🥇 in the 12/24hrs race. Just kept a steady pace and didn't make many mistakes on the navigation side.
The weather was well....adventurous gusts of up to 68kph and rolling showers made for a very memorable event. Big thanks to @expafrica for hosting such a great event.
13.5km kayak was brutal
32km trail run was ridiculous (didn't know I can run that far...)
60km mountain bike was lekker

Wouldn't have been able to do it without @veronegrobler on my side. We make a pretty good team😏😉 taken in Wortelgat Outreach Trust by @juridebruyn

#saggystonebeertrek completed for the second time this past weekend.
Hiking in our beautiful mountains with my best friends and some of the best beer around @saggystone, thanks for the great experiences!
