February is around the corner… Join us as we celebrate (liberatory) love with art, community and cross struggle liberation ✊🏾💌

On February 8th we’ll be hosting a special open mic highlighting local BIPOC & SWANA artists.

We are thrilled to be featuring two special guests:

✨ Jess Rizkallah @jessriz.art will share her poetry on existance in a liminal space as an Arab American, exploring themes of belonging, gender, sexuality, religion and shadows of family history and civil war.

✨ Vocalist, composer, and Tar player Monicki @imonicki will combine classical Persian music with a Jazz twist, blending the richness of Middle Eastern tradition with jazz. Her performance will be dedicated to the revolution in her homeland.

We’ll end the night with a group Levantine Dabke dance circle 🧿📿❤️‍🔥

❤️ Profits will benefit mutual aid in Iran & the Levant

Snag a ticket in our bio @nahdaproject and sign up to perform! There are still a few slots left! The line up is a surprise 🤫

See you there! ✨ by @just1pin
