Last year I tore my Achilles literally right before my 30th birthday. Easily one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. What most people didn’t see was the mental side of it. The depression, the anxiety, and constantly wondering if I’d ever feel like myself again.

Long story short, I quit PT after a couple months and decided to rehab on my own. It wasn’t easy, but I stayed locked in. Fast forward to now I’m back to boxing, lifting, and just ran a 10K. Wild to think I couldn’t even walk a year ago. Crazy how time flies.

Anyway S/O to all the homies who showed love, encouraged me, or reminded me to keep pushing.

P.S. Don’t tear your Achilles. by @just_scoop
