⠀
big shout out to my big sister for all the beautiful surprises that night — from the comedians, the private saxophonist, the whole set up & all had me lost for words! It was really the details for me 🥺 Thank you Ash for being all that you are to me + more, I don’t know what I did to deserve such an amazing big sister like you but I wouldn’t trade you for all ice cream in the world.. now that’s love. Truly love you a whole bunch Ash @ashbeasy 🥵⠀
⠀
over the past few months I really realized that I got some solid ones on my team, I count all guys twice when I count my blessings 💓.⠀

I am a BLACK MAN!..... I build .... I don't tear down other BLACK MEN! ....I have felt the pain of being torn down and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others! If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let's do something positive!!🌟 Upload 1 picture of yourself...ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers to do the same. (FB only allows 50). Let's build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down.

This hike reminded me a lot about my current journey in business.
-
First of all we decided to go hiking on the WORST weather day in Colorado.
-
Just like how I decided to work for myself right out of college...with literally no money.
-
About 15 minutes into the hike up the mountain we were so tired we had to take a break. -
I definitely wanted to say “fuck this shit” and go back to the crib and sit on my ass.
-
After 3 or 4 more “rest periods” we were half way up the mountain and now we had some solid momentum going our way.
-
Then came the toughest part of the hike.
-
Rocks, cold ass rain, and more wet ass rocks.
-
We slipped, stumbled, and felt like we going to freeze our hands to death.
-
But then realized we finally made it to the top!
-
This reminded me of all the struggles I’ve had and will continue to have in business.
-
Starting from nothing, almost quitting, to reaching highest revenue months.
-
Even though I’m still in the beginning of my “hike” I can look back and see how far I’ve come.
-
Now it’s time to go climb the next mountain.
