I’m going to be animating this whole sequence, as soon as I can find the time to get on it. Working out how to animate ate the lava lamp is more complex that I initially thought. I’m really happy with this one - I feel like it’s a nice continuation of many of the illustrations I made when I was first posting on here.

To get this whole thing done in less than a year, I have to compromise a lot on detail, but I think that’s something which really only becomes and issue when posting individual panels onto Instagram, and it all makes a lot more sense in the printed book. Also people who use AI can all get in the sea - just testing to see if anyone reads this.
.
Holding out hope you’ll follow my Kickstarter. There’s a link in my bio. It’ll launch mid November.

Instagram can be rough sometimes, but it’s a warm bath compared to Threads: it’s pure hell over there! I cross post automatically to zero engagement, but I made the mistake of actually opening the app today, and it’s flooded with AI prompt-freaks. I haven’t been so disheartened in a long time. Support real artists in the real world, and CREATE, for all our sakes.

Train station from Artichoke Knight, Part Two: The City of Dreams. There’s a link in my bio to follow the Kickstarter. It’s free and helps build hype, for me and the universe!

Sometimes I feel like London died 10 years ago, and we just live in its rotting corpse. It’s sad to see iconic venues like the Prince Charles Cinema struggle against developers - sadder still that many people don’t even know this. The only winners here are landlords. It might be time to build something exciting elsewhere.

I wish they would just take all my money away at the door, so I don’t have a heart attack after pudding.

Day two of posting images from my upcoming graphic novel Artichoke Knight Part Two, The City of Dreams. I’ve been bad at Instagram for a long time, but then again the only people winning on here are skits, t!ts and bots, so maybe that’s a compliment, so I’m going to spam images, and write whatever comes to my mind.

Go follow the Kickstarter on the link in my bio. It’s free!
