Thesis Reception!! I’m so proud of the work I put out, and even prouder of how everyone’s work came together in this gallery :) the past four years of studying illustration culminated in one show. I was very excited to pursue creating my own magazine, entirely illustrated from front to back with meticulous purpose and detail. I am beyond grateful to have been awarded the Gold Best Thesis Project, this recognition means the world from my professors @crod210 and @heathcliffcomix. I am also soooo thankful to everyone who showed up for the reception, celebrating the passion and art my peers and I have worked so hard to display. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU <3 by @justartts

Guess who just started as an assistant at MoMA >:) I created this illustration to reference Andrew Wyeth’s painting“Christina’s World,” one of my favorite pieces on view at the museum. I’m feeling deeply inspired and grateful to be surrounded by art, and will definitely be drawing/posting more!

Haven’t posted in a whilee 🏃‍♀️ these are some shots from @hija.de.quisqueya - I handbound this journal as a prop for the film! Super fun to press flowers, fill little jars, and illustrate pages for it as well 🌺🌺 I’d love to make more book props if ever someone needs ☝️

MoCCA Fest!!! I had a great time tabling on behalf of Montclair State University’s illustration program! Very grateful to everyone who came by, bought something, traded, or just chatted. It was amazing to connect with so many people and talented artists!

A mock Vogue Cover I made as an excuse to illustrate Violet Chachki👠 I have a lot of admiration for the work that goes into shaping silhouettes for drag queens, so this is an homage to the elegance of that shape language

Tagging gottmik cuz Violet won’t let me tag lmao

I made this little painting of a snake a while ago for an assignment, but I decided to edit it and make a custom frame for it 🐍🐍 I figure it’s fitting as we’re sending off the year of the snake
