This collection of paintings came from a peaceful place deep in the ocean. The kind of collection designed to draw you in and guide you through a meaningful plunge into your own subconscious.

Creating this collection reminded me how healing art can be not only for the viewers but the cause we supported. These pieces were created with Silvia Earle’s wish in my heart and to financially support her mission, missionblue.org

There was so much peace and satisfaction generated in the process of painting these, and I hope you can feel a little of that softness and inspiration when you look at these pieces.

Jin and I have been working on his tattoos for years now and his ideas keep growing and growing. He has a vision and guides me to bring it to life. I hand paint the flowers of his choice directly on his skin, weaving the leaves and vines in and out of the negative spaces. This is really a true collaboration. by @justineartstudio
