Elated ✨

I’ll be riding this high for a long while. For the last few years, I’ve been coveting flat, tall, black boots, which are surprisingly hard to find.

This year, @poppybarley introduced a third calf width to their Riding Boot 🤩

It was so super easy to order online with their helpful size chart! All you have to do is measure your calf, enter your shoe size and it’ll give you your suggested calf width, I’m Calf Width 3! It’s such a good feeling, as a large calf lady, to have these zip all the way up and be comfortable!

Adult camp 💓

Feeling grateful to have attended my first Rose Retreat with @ywca_edmonton at Camp Yowochas 🌹

The best part was meaningful connection with a group of incredible women, sharing stories, and community.

Time for my @lumberjillapparel closet to SHINE ✨

I’m going to camp and I’m packing all the things naturally 🧳💁🏻‍♀️ Happy to have all these outdoor essentials from Canadian designed AND made @lumberjillapparel 🥰 this is basically an LJA appreciation post because my packing has been seamless 😅💃🏻

Wish me luck in the wilderness! Dibs on the top bunk 🤣

Funny story, my sister and I had bunk beds growing up and I had top bunk and then my mom installed a ceiling fan. I had to wake my sister up every time I needed to get out of bed so she could turn off the fan and I wouldn’t chop my head off 🤪😂🥰 by @justinemadesign

AD // I was lucky enough to have a behind the scenes peek with designer, Sharleen Thomas @wheremylovegrows where she picked out pieces for her space, Healing Haven, in collaboration with @sarahbaeumler @albertacouncilofwomensshelters for @YegHomeShows!

Sharleen shared characteristics on what design elements make a space feel safe, comforting and welcoming. These important details make a big difference for women and children seeking shelter.

When was the last time you set aside time for yourself to just PLAY?!

Today I went to my first ever adult art camp with @thecreativefieldtrip and it was fabulous! We started with dessert, we collaborated as a group, we ate again, we soaked up the sunshine and learned some great tips from Dallas for phone photography, we dove into collage, ate some more and the day flew by!

Huge thank you to @amydixonart @nicolewinskicreative @luminariecreative (and the wonderful volunteers) for putting together such an important day for us all. AND the best part, raising $4000 for @ywca_edmonton 🤩

✨ Craft night ✨

Tonight I was hosted for a delightful kinusaiga workshop @fabricandflow as a pre-celebration to tomorrow’s official Grand Opening!

So proud of my friend Milan, for creating such a welcoming, creative space in west Edmonton 💕

Fabric + Flow sells patterns, fabrics, kits, notions and hosts a variety of workshops! Ruby recently did a summer camp where they made a hoodie, bowl, and pencil case. I was so impressed!!

Be sure to check out their open house, tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, for complimentary mini crafts, tour the space, browse fabrics + supplies, meet the makers and more! All ages welcome!
