Meet the Judges | Part 3

As we conclude our introduction to the judging panel for the @asconagroup Child of Wales Awards 2026, we’re proud to introduce four more exceptional individuals who will help select this year’s winners.

Sir Gareth Edwards CBE – Welsh Rugby Legend and Foundeer fo the Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity @sirgarethedwardscancercharity
Justine Jones – Actress and TV Presenter @justinemjones
Mark Jermin – Founder and Director, Mark Jermin Management Ltd @markjermin
Dan Tyers – Chief Strategy Officer, Blue Tiger Marketing and Event Partner @bluetiger.media

Together, they bring a wealth of experience from the worlds of entertainment, sport, business and communications. Each judge shares a passion for celebrating young people and a commitment to recognising the courage, kindness, resilience and achievements of children across Wales.

With every nomination read carefully and every story considered thoughtfully, our judging panel has the incredibly difficult task of selecting this year’s finalists and winners. We know it won’t be easy, because every young person nominated has already made an extraordinary impact.

‘The Summer of Love’ debut collection by @ianhwatkinsart now @clarendonfineartofficial on the hays in Cardiff.

A wonderful day celebrating @ianhwatkins and the fabulous @bronwenlewis also sang a duet with H, a Welsh version of Deeper Shade of Blue by Steps, the harmonies were stunning I had goosebumps.

A fantastic event @clarendonfineartofficial to see all the paintings up close was such a treat, congratulations @ianhwatkins what an incredible achievement, from Smash Hits Poll Winners Party to the Art Gallery, you are amazing!
