Home sweet home lil birdies🏡🐦!

Finished up this new greeting card celebrating a new home. I liked the idea of a big, bustling birdhouse full of singing birds. Feels appropriate for this time of year! This one's for everyone settling into their own little space and making it feel like home.

FINALLY wrestled this one into a place where it works. I've drawn and redrawn this specific one about 4 times. Sheeeeesh.

Lately I've been spending more time creating artwork with greeting cards and licensing in mind, and this birthday-loving bear felt like a good one to add to the collection.

One of my favourite parts of illustration is coming up with characters that can tell a story in a single image. Hoping this guy gets to make someone's birthday a little more fun someday.

Always adding new work to the portfolio!

I couldn't hit a baseball when I played as a kid, and as it turns out, I couldn't hit one on Super Nintendo either. My friends used to hit rockets against me. Somehow all those strikeouts, summer afternoons and CRUSHING defeats still end up in my illustrations. Nothing like the sting of getting annihilated in a video game. It'll change your whole day haha

Drawing people isn't necessarily a strength of mine. Especially ladies. Someone laughed at a drawing I did of Rogue from the Xmen when I was 7 and I think it obliterated my ability to draw ladies for 30+ years.

Trying to break some barriers and build some confidence!

As someone who hasn't been fishing in 30 years, I genuinely romanticize it every summer and then never actually go and then lament not going once Fall arrives.

Here's to not going fishing next summer either! 🍻
