Justin’s work is full of energy and humour, drawing inspiration from many scources, such as comic books, cartoons, 80s SNL reruns, standup comedy, street art, greeting cards, vinyl covers, vintage tin toy. A sweet little makeover for @highseasns Taffy & Tees on the Halifax waterfront! 🦀 🦞 🍬

Painting a whole building sans sprayer in 30+ degrees in July is not recommended, but neighbors @caffeluccamoto + @mizodrinks looked after us🍹

After applying to several illustration agencies, Justin Ian Lee (@justinianlee) began to question what might be missing from his portfolio.

In this video, Justin shares how the ITSme Illustration Mentorship helped him better understand what agents were looking for, strengthen the presentation of his work and approach his portfolio with more clarity. He has since gone on to secure representation with Advocate Art and CWLA.

Thank you to Justin for sharing his honest experience and advice for other illustrators who may be feeling discouraged by rejection.

Some Saturday morning scribbbles while watching kids shows with the kiddo. I love mindlessly making these gloop/blob creatures. .
