I brought my painting to my salsa class this past week @rumbaroom901 for a little show and tell, and I happened to run into the two stars of the painting ✨✨✨

As you can see, I am hot and sweaty from class and smiling like a goofball.

@pequedancer and @roguishdv thanks for being my muses! 💃🏼🕺🏿 by @justinwilliams_art

Speed Portrait Swap is back by popular demand! 😆 Comment SWAP to get a ticket link.

Monday, August 10, 2026 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at @bar_dkdc.

Speed Portrait Swap is a laughter-inducing art game—led by artist and musician @justinwilliams_art—where everybody takes turns drawing each other in a limited amount of time.

At the end of the game, everybody has several unique portraits of themselves.

You do not have to be good at drawing.

It’s actually better if you’re bad at drawing because that makes it even funnier. by @justinwilliams_art

"Randy"
12" x 9"
Acrylic on canvas

Portrait of the inimitable @r.andytruong

I've been wanting to paint this one for a while. Finally got around to starting and finishing it. A deceptively difficult piece. I'm always surprised how different subjects and settings demand new skills. I'm not sure I've learned them all, but it's good to be painting again 🧑🏼‍🎨 by @justinwilliams_art

Take a look at this happy kid. 🌞

My painting "The Duel" is going to a new home. Thanks @olivia_r0man 💙

Also: my commissions are open!! ✨

If you have a vision and you want to work together on a project, I'd love to help bring it to life.

I've stumbled into a bit of free time as I navigate looking for new employment. It's time to tackle some new projects. 🧑🏼‍🎨 by @justinwilliams_art

Had the distinct pleasure of hanging out with @byanthonylorenzo the other day. He took some snaps of me for my upcoming single release.

When we were discussing ideas for the shoot and he said he wanted to set up a "living room" in a random alleyway downtown, I was like, "absolutely, let's do that!"

So much fun!

"...They Keep Giving Me This Look"

Gouache on Paper

Fun little piece I got to work on for @byanthonylorenzo as a trade for photo shoot for my single I'm releasing later this month.

I love doing trades with my art friends. If you have a project in mind, let's connect 🤓 by @justinwilliams_art

"Sav and Ellis"
9 x 12
Acrylic on Canvas

Been wanting to do this piece for a while, finally getting around to it. I was hanging out with my dear friends @_savannahsmith and Ellis a few months ago at Java and they reminded me a bit of one of my favorite Alice Neel paintings (slide 4). Thought it would be fun to paint 🧑‍🎨 by @justinwilliams_art
