An artist for as long as I can remember…

4 to forever
I have so many loose pages of art, unfinished sketchbooks, school assignments, concept sketches….
My head hurst looking at all the pages i’ll have to sort out but my heart is full when i think back to the moment i did each one and the story of how they came to be.

I have to organize my life and I think i will be condensing all these loose pages into a series of photo books for my own keepsake. Just looking at these i see how much I’ve grown in painting and purpose. From shy sketches in my notebooks to them being translated into the real world

Be the inspiration your younger self would look up to.

Allow me to reintroduce myself ✨💜

I’m Jamera - a digital to traditional artist of many talents and….well you’ll read the rest 🙂

On this page, I’ve shared art photos, video processesss - and I’d love to dive into a lil more story…starting with a bit of mine.

This year I look forward to sharing stories on the meaning behind the work I do, the process, and the synchronicities between art and everyday life. Stories of how I made things and stories that connect us through our divine creativity.

But before we get into all the nits and grits I’d love to know what brought you here, what made you stay and a good intention you’re setting for the year.

Thanks for being here 🙏🏾

The workshops, the live paintings, the murals left no time for the paintings this year.

I love seeing reactions at events - I be behind the camera grinning so hard😂

Some people like taking photos and some see a camera and forget what to do with their hands.

Live illustrations gives you another way to capture yourself - not every little detail that you tend to point out on yourself but the essence of what makes you YOU in that moment - the hair, the style, the energy and pose.

And a drawing can feel a lil more special than a quick pic that sits in your camera roll.

So, do you trust me to capture you with my marker? by @justj.art
