London, we’re coming back!

So excited to celebrate this incredible milestone with Just Jinjer at indigo at The O2!

This band has been part of my musical journey in so many ways, and I’m incredibly proud to join them in celebrating great South African music!

London, come celebrate with us on 25 November 2026! Can’t wait to see you there.

FUNK ERA IS OUT. NOW. EVERYWHERE.

Thirty years ago we pressed 500 copies of this album on CD and then it just... disappeared. No digital release, no streaming, nothing. If you didn't buy it back then, you've never been able to hear it. Until today.

All 18 tracks are live right now, the original Limited Edition plus three tracks that only ever existed on a demo CD and have never been heard by anyone outside the band: Liza-Jane, Pretty One, and a solo acoustic demo of Shallow Waters that's being heard for the very first time ever, by anyone, today.

This is Just Jinger before Just Jinger. Tri Funk Era, then Funk Era, then us. Thirty years of history, all in one place, streaming for the first time.

Tell us which songs you want to hear in London and South Africa!

Out on all major platforms...

500 copies. 30 years. Zero streams.

In 1996 we pressed 500 CDs and that was the entire print run. Sold from car boots and backstage doors, then gone. Never on streaming. Until now.

The Funk Era recordings are coming online. Worldwide. Very soon.

Still got one of the original 500? Show us. Photo in the comments or your story, tag us. We want to see where these things ended up.

That time Rodriguez surprised us just before we went on stage at Standard Bank Arena. He came on and sang 'Sugar Man' with us. Who remember this? What's your fave track of his? Let us know in the comments.

The power of music brought and kept us together, even when we were apart. Our 'Stand In Your Way' COVID-19 collab is a testament to that. What does this song mean to you? Share your memories below! 👇
