Happy 313 Day to the best city on earth. Born and raised here all my life. I have fallen in love with myself and so many others here over the years. I am forever proud of this place!

Happy birthday to me. This last year was the year of growth, changes, standing up for myself and starting over. Can’t wait to see what year 37 brings!

Aftermath of the tornado that touched down on my block in Islandview Thursday afternoon. It was one of the scariest moments of my life. Grateful that no one died. taken in Detroit, Michigan by @justsnazz_

Day one of LSAT studying because apparently going back to college in my 30s wasn’t enough. Now I’ve decided I want to go to law school too.

Do I know exactly what I’m getting myself into? Absolutely not. Am I already looking at Harvard like they personally invited me? Absolutely.

I’m giving myself plenty of time to learn this test instead of waiting until the last minute and stressing myself the hell out. No pressure to be perfect. No need to understand everything immediately. Just starting.

Anyway, Mike Kim, me and you are about to become very close.

I still have to go to work 😭

Like there is no “college experience.” I have meetings. Bills. A full time job. A household. Responsibilities. Then I log off and become a student.

Going back to school in your 30s is realizing you actually WANT to learn this time, while also trying to figure out where the hell the time is supposed to come from.

I’m only a few days in and somehow I feel more comfortable and confident in school now than I did when I was younger.

33 credits left. We getting this degree.
