Got my memento finally..incidentally my first achievement in any sporting event since childhood! (Yeah this bad!)
😁
But this means a lot to me..a real f*cking lot..thanks to all of you.
The journey begins.

@tatamummarathon wrap up. It's been a fabulous fabulous experience. The city, the Mumbaikars, the vibe, the event, and the race day. It's been two days, I have not been able to come out of the euphoria. Oh not yet.
A personal best of 3:20 for a full marathon looks just consequential!

Thanks @chandan_vlogs @santhoshbelagali @iabhilashm and Rajeshwara for being so awesome.

Second full marathon done at 3:32. An almost 50 minutes of improvement from my first one. The best part? I am not injured..I am not limping. I have won this.. next goal? To keep running. Met @barefootbobby1 @running_rathod26 and a lot of running legends..that's another plus. taken in Sree Kanteerava Stadium by @justsoura

I had the privilege today to run a training long run along with one of the most famous age group runners in India @barefootbobby1 .. when I am his age..even if I am 1/100th of the runner he is today..I would consider myself blessed.

Bengaluru didn't go the way I wanted.
18 weeks of training. One race. One hard lesson.
But the race is over. The work isn't.
Some days you chase a goal.
Some days you rebuild.
Either way, you show up.

Still here. Still fighting. 🏃‍♂️

Form follows function. ⚡️
You don't train for a marathon to look a certain way..you adapt to handle the load. From early aerobic building to peak mileage, watching the body adjust to the stress of the block is half the journey.
Have you observed this?

Rain on my face.
Wind in my ears.
A slippery hill beneath my feet.

The only variable that has ever paid me exactly what I deserved...

...is running. Paid in bliss. 🌧️🏃
