Shelfie Sunday 🫶🏼📖🧡 I’m going to take some time today to spend in my happy place 😊 I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! I’ve been rewatching The Vampire Diaries which always makes me happy!! And I’m currently reading Once, Again Always and Starside for this months book club pick! It’s been a highly anticipated read for me so I’m excited to continue the story! & thank you to my husband I’m overseeing over this song!!

Finally read The Love Hypothesis in preparation for the movie!! I loved them both but the book was better!! Seeing the characters come to life was so fun 🩷 and I LOVED the friendship between Anh and Olives friendship and that hotel scene?! 🥵🔥🌶️ so amazing to see that so many great romance books are getting adaptations!

Of course I had to get a Pumpkin Spice drink and a sweet treat in honor of our girl Olive 🧡🎃

Oh how a @authorlylasage book always feels like coming home 🧡 I absolutely adored Collins and Brady! And Sweetwater Peak sounds like a place I’d love to go see. I have a twin sister myself and I’m the Clarke out of the two so I can’t wait to read her story! I’m getting my copy of Free Falling tomorrow!!

This was a buddy read with @booksandcoffeemegan and as always I loved talking about what stood out and theories to how it will all end! Happy First Day of Fall everyone 🍂🍁☕️🧸 I hope it’s been a cozy day for you all! I am so excited to watch all the Disney Halloween movies I loved growing up and eat way too many fall treats!!

Fall Into Place by @kristynjmiller was such a great Fall read 🧡🍂🍁

Fall is my favorite time of the year and this book had so many elements and tropes that I love! There’s an apple orchard, brothers best friend, he falls hard and a bit of a cozy mystery! A nice friend group and grief. I think that Kristyn did a good job at depicting grief. If you like to read stories about a person who is feeling a little lost and life didn’t go as planned, I think you’ll enjoy this one. And it all just felt very real. I love a good slow burn and reading about people realizing their true feelings. I adored Callan and Lenore’s chemistry 🥹 I definitely want to check out her debut now!

A rainy September day and a great book >>>

This is my new favorite JT Ellison book!! I’ve loved every book of hers that I’ve read including “A Very Bad Thing” and “Last Seen” both amazing reads!! She’s one of my top favorite thriller authors. Her writing is so gripping. But this one had so many POVs and was extremely twisty! I kept thinking I knew who to trust and who not to but then another clue would pop up. At one point my head was spinning with different outcomes. There were also multiple stories and timelines to keep up with which I personally love in a thriller - it keeps me guessing more! You feel genuinely connected to multiple characters during the story. The story happens over the holidays. Brooklyn was set to go on a vacation with her husband and kids. He then vanished from the airport and life as she knows it completely unravels. She accepts help from a stranger on the flight who claims she is her husband’s dead wife’s sister! Brooklyn has her own dark past she’s trying to avoid when she’s confronted with her new reality and that her life may not be what it seems. If you love a thriller with familial secrets and pasts getting exposed I highly recommend this one! That ending had my jaw on the floor 😱

Ready for your next spooky read for fall?! This book had me SO invested in the story and how it was going to play out. And the main character Marin was such a complex character! Riley writes inner dialogue so well! This is my second of his books and I can’t wait to dive into more of his backlist. I kept checking around the corners 😂 it was so atmospheric and spooky! And every time I thought I figured out the ending I was wrong and I love that! This is definitely for people who love the supernatural in their thrillers. I also listened to part of the audiobook and the narration was so good!! I’m picking with audiobooks so that was a huge plus for me.

Hi friends! These are all books on my immediate TBR 🧡 Ive already started a few of them! I’m about 15% into the secrets we hide and picking it back up soon as I LOVE her writing! Thank you so much @williammorrowbooks for the finished copy!

I’m also about 125 pages into Daybreak by @autumnwoods.author and really enjoying it I just know this will be great like Nightshade! I am almost done with Fall Into Place by @kristynjmiller and loving it!! Thank you @youhadmeathea for the gifted ARC and I will be posting my review by PUB Day!

Thank you @blackstonepublishing for the ARC of @jenevaroseauthor new book! Love her writing and I’m excited to read this! The Mindfu*ck Series is this months book club! Excited to get into it!

I love the Dream Harbor series so I’m so really looking forward to reading @lauriegilmore_author Big Bad Wolf! out 9/8 and I’ll have my review up soon! Thank you @harpercollins360 for the gifted book!

Like he knows me. Like if I handed him my fragile heart, he’d treat it with tender kindness. “Can’t help it. You’re the most miserable person I’ve ever met. Have you ever been optimistic about anything, ever?”

No notes. I mean this alone would’ve made me read it. The Banter?!! Seriously the best I’ve read. I said what I said. I love these characters SO much and was completely hooked. My heart was pounding! I laughed so much but also teared up. I’m a forever fan of @autumnwoods.author and will always read her books! I already started Daybreak and I’m excited to see where Alex and Ophelia’s story will go. And Vincenzo is probably my favorite side character from any book I’ve read. If you are debating please pick this up!! 5 stars! An all-time new favorite.

Reading Update: I also started Fall Into Place by Kristyn Miller and it’s cute! Anyone else already into their Fall TBR? Also hot take but I don’t think you have to only read seasonally I might just pick up a summer read in the Fall 🧡

@kirsty_greenwood can do no wrong. She has a knack for the best intro scenes to make you immediately invested in the story. Her writing makes you laugh but also leaves you thinking. She has such a great voice in the romance genre and if you love magical realism like I do I highly suggest picking this up! I also LOVE her debut “Love of My Afterlife” 🫶🏼

I loved that the character that comes to life for her was not the MMC of her book series but the “villainous” cowboy instead. I think this one is definitely for the people pleasers and people who need to learn to be authentically themselves and to remind us that perspective shapes the way we see the world.

Lost in a good book >>>

😱 that ending!!! So annoyed I have to wait until Book 3! Which I hope gets announced soon. I enjoyed the first book in the series “The Bell Witches” but this was so much better!! Action packed with more of “who will she choose?” And I have to say Jackson has gained my interest more in this book. Savannah, Georgia is an interesting place to say the least. I felt like we got more of the character’s stories and Lindsey set us up for what could be a really great back story in Book 3. The connection that Emily has with her friends is beautiful. If you’ve been wondering about the series now would be a great time to pick it up! Also I read part of this on audio and it was SO good!!
