First roll of Lucky Color 400

Quick review: Fine grain. Red cast in the shadows. Pretty vibrant greens and deep blues. Dynamic range is narrower than Kodak stocks so meter carefully. Definitely has a great number of artistic uses, and especially given the low price!

Lucky SHD 100

Good contrast and fine grain black & white film. I was able to pull back lots of details despite the non-perfect metering. So much worth for nearly $5 a roll price tag!

Lomochrome Purple

An experimental film stock that flips the photosensitive chemicals for blue and green channels. Though originally meant to mimic kodak's famous Aerochrome, I find it's purple-teal-white color palette fitting for 徽 style architectures and a great number of other creative uses.

Overexposed - too bad the Trip 35 only had two shutter speeds.

La Jolla Shores

The black water and weird artifacts are either due to the yellow filter, or the film having sat in my drawer for two weeks and gone through multiple x-ray machines....

Pro Image has quickly become one of my favorite film stocks. Sure, it doesn't have the best latitude or color accuracy. Red leans megenta, blue cyan, and green yellow; resulting in a color combination I somehow find endearing. Being less than $10 a roll, it truly is the poor man's portra. It also has a huge place in photographic history, being originally produced for developing film markets like Asia and Latin America. by @jwu_arts
