步入 Avyakta | 未現之境的幽微邊界

作為 @adna_hk 的 @omenwapta showcase 系列陣容介紹，今日聚焦兩位擅於拿捏彈性張力與過渡狀態的聲音引渡者：@jyippio 與 @fungicf 。

Faxtory 作為@distrikt_hk 的主力人之一，他的音樂游移於沉思與暗湧的動能之間。生長於香港、歷經紐約地下聲響的浸潤，他深掘 house 音樂的深邃根系與極富推進力的節奏律動。早期在管弦與爵士樂中對長號、打擊樂及鼓點的鑽研，化為其指尖下內斂而精準的結構掌控；在張馳收放與搖擺律動的交錯重疊中，構築出兼具理性思辨與出神維度的舞池空間。

Konnection (Liminal Space / 宀) 則將電子音樂視為一場無止境的內在探尋。從香港地下銳舞場景崛起、擔任宀 Club 駐場 DJ 的他，自如調度 deep techno、broken beat、bass 與 halftime 等多重頻率。憑藉標誌性的長時鋪陳混音與極致敏銳的現場直覺，他將舞池帶入深層鎖定的沉浸狀態；創立廠牌 @liminalspace.hk 更是他對大氣、電影感與迷幻聲景的延伸實踐，在邊界模糊的地帶牽引靈魂的震顫共鳴。

Continuing our artist spotlight for the Omen Wapta showcase at Acadana, we delve into the elastic tensions and liminal frequencies guided by Faxtory and Konnection.

Faxtory（Distrikt) moves through the floor with fluid introspection and understated precision. Born in Hong Kong and shaped across years in New York, his selections reflect the subterranean roots of house, tactile rhythmic drive, and kinetic propulsion. Echoes of classical and jazz discipline—rooted in percussion, trombone, and drums—ghost through his sets, bending momentum, groove, and release into soundscapes that feel both cerebral and deeply transportive.

Konnection (Liminal Space / 宀) treats sound as an unfolding journey across borderless territories. Emerging from the underground and holding residency at 宀 Club, Fung sculpts a cinematic continuum woven from deep techno, halftime, low-end pressure, and broken rhythms. Known for patient, locked-in blends and acute crowd intuition, his sonic world oscillates across tension and release. Through his imprint and event platform Liminal Space, he continuously explores the blurred edges between psychedelic trance states and raw physical resonance.

A Strange Wedding is a French DJ, producer and trained sound designer based in Berlin, known for crafting mesmeric sonic journeys.

Merging a mysterious blend of polychromatic influences, his music brings together tempos and sounds from diverse horizons within the same cosmic framework. Exploring experimental bass music and the most psychedelic forms of techno, he opens breaches in space time, creating soundscapes that shimmer and stretch between constellations of inner worlds.

Great big Saturday night and Hong Kong premiere of an artist the hosting crews bonded over, so get ready for a wedding, and by the sound of it, it's gonna get pretty strange 🛰️

LMNL_DSTRKT

This Saturday, two crews become one. Distrikt and Liminal Space merge into a single liminal district — LMNL_DSTRKT — the space between two families, bound by the same obsession, coming together for the first time to host an artist we have loved from afar for years.

A Strange Wedding (@astrangewedding): a French DJ, producer and trained sound designer based in Berlin, now a respected force beyond the French electronic scene, joins us for a LIVE performance at our home ground 宀 Club.

Operating at the fluid intersection of experimental bass and the most psychedelic forms of techno, he merges a polychromatic swirl of influences within a single cosmic framework — opening breaches in space-time, meticulously sculpting frequencies and textures into sonic stories that shimmer and stretch between constellations of inner worlds. A true master of sound design and narrative, he has released on useless seconds, Biofield and Mama Told Ya, and stands as a founding member of the useless seconds collective and resident of the memòri project — treating electronic music as an immersive, story-driven universe in its purest form.

But this one means something deeper to us. A Strange Wedding is the artist Faxtory and Konnection have bonded over for many years — the thread woven between our two families — and it is a genuine pleasure to finally welcome him into the room we call home.

Setting the tone of the night is Distrikt co-founder and 宀 Club resident Faxtory (@jyippio), opening the floor before A Strange Wedding’s live transmission takes over to unlock a window of pure cosmic frequency from 2am to 3am. From there, Konnection (@fungicf) guides the night home, closing out the early hours.

August @noodsradio show is online 📡 was joined by Faxtory @jyippio from Hong Kong this month - we met briefly at Shi Fu Miz festival a couple years ago, and since then I’ve been hearing great things about his deejaying and his crew @distrikt_hk ✨ glad to have him on the show, he delivered a very deep guest mix traversing all kinds of ambient and atmospheric electronica

I kicked off the first hour as usual with some deep records I been feeling lately, both old cuts and newer releases

DISTRIKT 32

For our 32nd edition, Distrikt descends into the depths for a special reunion, inviting Goa-based DJ and producer Innerworld (@innerworld.music) back to Hong Kong for his 宀 Club debut.

Innerworld, the moniker of Akshay Mathkar (@akshaymathker_am), first joined the Distrikt story in 2025 when he delivered a brain-melting set for our 3-Year anniversary at Acadana. This time, he returns to Hong Kong at a crucial phase in his global trajectory, following standout releases on Qilla Records and Mana Abundance, as well as milestone performances at Wonderfruit’s Catch 428 and Japan’s iconic Rural festival.

As the founder of Goa’s high-fidelity LFO platform, Innerworld approaches the booth as a patient storyteller: building tension, layering textures, and blurring the line between deep sonic meditation and raw intensity.

Guiding the night’s arc is Distrikt co-founder and resident Faxtory (@jyippio).

Innerworld 將會喺上年 Distrikt 三週年慶典之後再返到嚟。

雖然已經唔陌生但 Innerworld 係嚟自印度果亞嘅 DJ 兼音樂創作人 Akshay Mathker 分身企劃，以提煉搖擺文化嘅精髓，於 Ambient、 Deep Techno、 Halftime 同埋其他奇異舞曲嘅灰色地帶之間徘徊作招徠。比起音樂類型 Innerworld 更加注重音樂夠唔夠離幻去擺佈靈魂同肉身，探索聲音、空間同群體嘅能量交換體驗。

Distrikt 其中一位創辦人 Faxtory 將會𢹂手帶嚟九十年代到二千年早期嘅音樂，將一啲歷久常新嘅前衞音樂漸漸堆疊，以聲音嘅張力建構一個感官情緒層次豐厚嘅體驗。

Innerworld-world makes its way back into Distrikt for the first time after their 3rd birthday celebration last year.

Despite needing no introduction, Innerworld is the alter ego of Goan DJ and producer Akshay Mathker, shaped by the spirit of rave culture. Blurring the lines between ambient, deep techno, halftime, and other leftfield dancefloor energies, Innerworld is less about genre and more about evoking a state, a meditative, hypnotic rhythm designed to move both body and psyche. It’s a project rooted in exploration: of sound, of space, and of collective experience.

Distrikt co-founder Faxtory cares for the other half of the night - influenced by late-90s and early-2000s records, and driven by a constant appetite for modern, boundary-pushing production, his sound is defined by tension-building and progression, with a taste for introspective tracks that carry slow-burning emotional weight-expressed through patient blends, layering, and subtle shifts.

3.9 YEARS OF DISTRIKT

This Saturday we celebrate 3.9 Years of Distrikt. No frills, no gimmicks. A nod to years of dark clubs, heavy sound, and collective motion. Though the mission remains unchanged: an unfolding of auditory stories with an unwavering commitment to curation and sound.

Headlining this milestone edition at our home ground 宀 Club is a special b2b excursion from two artists operating at the absolute vanguard of psychedelia: OCCA (@occa_occa_occa) and Spekki Webu (@spekkiwebu.mirrorzone).

OCCA is no stranger to Hong Kong. Those who have borne witness know that his relentless sonic experimentation makes him both a rare and vital presence in the East Asian scene. Anchoring the revered Precious Hall in Sapporo, he draws from a deep spiritual well that challenges dancefloor norms and perceptions.

In perfect lockstep is Spekki Webu, an artist born into contrast and shaped by the formative Dutch hardcore and freeparty countercultures. His journey is one of creative freedom and deep listening, travelling through styles rather than chasing them. Through his seminal label Mirror Zone and niche projects like Signal Transmutations, he channels a craft that outrightly refuses to be boxed.

OCCA and Spekki Webu have continually deepened their creative resonance in recent years, and this collaboration in celebration of Distrikt will serve as a masterclass in electronic ritualism.

Support duties come courtesy of our founders and residents Faxtory (@jyippio), Scott B (@scottbouttle) and Jordy Lee (@jordy_carey) – locking in for a true family affair.

Thank you all for 3.9 years of dance floor trust. This milestone belongs to everyone that has shaped our journey.

Pleasantly disorienting, the two role model DJs co-exist between the love for deep, psychedelic, tribal, trance and all things free/techno. Still, we're sure these interjections will fruit more than simple genre classification.

Distrikt has been gathering and hugging people over the last four years with great success, and this birthday won't feel any different - albeit more special with all those candles to blow out.

This part of town just keeps expanding its borders, reaching you wherever you don't sleep.

DISTRIKT 31

For our 31st edition, Distrikt ventures into the low-end world, welcoming rising Tokyo-based artist comm (@commbass) for a special LIVE performance, alongside our local anchors Charlieowo (@charlieowooo) and Faxtory (@jyippio).

comm has been quietly carving out a unique space within the East Asian underground, operating at a fluid intersection of dubstep, leftfield bass, and hypnotic techno, all inflected with oriental rhythms that conjure a ritualistic atmosphere. Her productions have gained support from global selectors, while her recent performances at likes of Future Terror and Rivers have cemented her growing reputation. Following her highly acclaimed RA Mix of the Day in 2025, she has continued to expand her sonic universe through her own label Synvision Sounds – a concept she describes as “a phantom vision generated by a non-existent system.”

Joining the lineup is Charlieowo, a force who has been developing Hong Kong’s sub-surface sounds through her ever-evolving project Neural Spiral. Her sets effortlessly weave between psychedelia and low-frequency rhythms, designed to alter perceptions and shift dance floor experiences.

Setting the tone of the night is Distrikt co-founder and resident Faxtory.
