Lessons from the Field Ep. 1: Public performance reveals private practice.

Pressure doesn’t always create what’s inside of you, but reveals what’s already there.

So here’s your journal prompt of the day:

If your private life became public today, what would it reveal that you’ve been practicing?

Feel free to share in the comments 🫶🏽
“Lately, my life has been revealing that I’ve been practicing ________.”

Next lesson 👩🏽‍🏫: how to stand when pressure comes

People make the assumption that all religions are the same and preach the same message: be a good person and you will make it to heaven. But scripture says, “We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind” (Isaiah 64:6).

There is no amount of good deeds that a human can do to buy eternal life. But the one who is eternal, can give us the gift of eternal life. Jesus died on the cross, and rose from the grave to display the Father’s love for humanity. He removed all barriers to having a relationship with Him for eternity by simply asking us to trust in Him and believe Him.

It is our faith in Jesus that transforms us. And it is from our new identity, that our thoughts, actions, and speech reflect the one who is good.

- Share this with a friend who is curious about Christianity.
- Save this video for later for when doubt and fear try to sneak in between you and God.

I’ll see you in the next video. Blessings.

Because Christ died and rose, He presented us with a different path we can choose to take, a path filled with hope, love, mercy, and grace. It’s only through Him we can walk down this path of eternal life.

If the enemy knows how influential a woman can be, surely you should recognize it too. If you don’t recognize your own influence, you leave the door open for someone else to use it.

Ephesians 2:4-5 - “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved.”

Hot take: Modern day “women’s empowerment” is empowering the spirit of lust, feeding men’s fantasies, and destroying women’s confidence & identity.

God’s love for you is not based on how you look, perform, or what you have achieved. It is based on who He is and that you simply exist.

1 Samuel 16:7-“For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Romans 5:8 - “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

You are more than just your body. Your soul was made to reflect the likeness of God.

You’re so valuable that Jesus would choose to lay down his life so that you can know how deeply loved you are by the Father.

Psalms‬ ‭8‬:‭3-‭5‬ - “When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.” ‭ by @k.disciples

Beauty fades. But when your identity is in Jesus Christ, your value and confidence is unshakable.

“… people are like the grass. Their beauty fades as quickly as the flowers in a field. The grass withers and the flowers fade beneath the breath of the LORD. And so it is with people. The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.” - ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭6‬-‭8‬
