I’ve found myself asking often, “who am I, God, that you would use me and bless me with a community after your heart?”

I can’t fully comprehend it, and I sometimes don’t feel worthy of any of it. But then I remember that Jesus suffered and died on the cross to redeem me so that I could have a relationship with a Holy God. And not just me, but all of humanity. Surrendering to Jesus was the true beginning of my life, one now abundant with mercy, grace, and community. I am just so incredibly thankful to my Lord & Savior, Jesus, and His Church. by @faithwithvw

This was easier to make than I thought.

If money is tight, start cooking at home. You can pay $15 for a chick fil a meal or you can make at least 8 sandwiches at home for around $20. Money gonna be spent regardless, so choose wisely. 🫶🏽

Meal prep critique: “I can’t eat the same meal everyday.”

Trust, you won’t be sick of this low effort and cozy main dish.

(will reduce amount of chicken broth next time😅)

Lessons from the Field Ep. 2

It could be that the difficult season that you’re in, is actually your training ground. Because resilience and strength isn’t developed when life is easy and comfortable, but when your circumstances makes you want to quit, but you choose obedience to God’s will for your life.

So if this season feels heavy, ask God, “What are you removing and developing in me? What are you asking me to practice?” Because he may be actually answering your prayer, by molding you into the person you were created to be.

“Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.”
