Jesus suffered so that you may know how much you are loved by Him.

“Let us keep looking to Jesus. Our faith comes from Him and He is the One Who makes it perfect. He did not give up when He had to suffer shame and die on a cross. He knew of the joy that would be His later. Now He is sitting at the right side of God.” - Hebrews 12:2

“Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.” Psalm 34:5

(Also, this song is catchy. I like it 😂)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.” Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭

“(both Jews and converts to Judaism), Cretans, and Arabs. And we all hear these people speaking in our own languages about the wonderful things God has done!”” Acts 2‬:‭11‬ ‭

“Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬

“Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way...” - 1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬-‭16‬

“When Mary arrived and saw Jesus, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if only you had been here, my brother would not have died.”
‭‭John‬ ‭11‬:‭32‬ ‭

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬

The key to being secure in who you are is to root your identity in the One who’s feelings for you has never changed.

Praise Him in the mountain tops and valleys!

“I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me.” - Psalms‬ ‭139‬:‭7‬-‭10‬

Jesus doesn’t force a relationship—He invites you.
This is your invitation, and saying yes can change everything.

A very delayed graduation post to commemorate the best times with the best people. 😅😊 So grateful for every single individual God who put in my life during the past 4yrs at UF! The personal growth and friendships I have gained is priceless. Praise the Lord for “every good and perfect thing comes from Him.” —James 1:17

First attempt of a flat twist out, and I loved it!

It’s a great low maintenance style for my natural type 4 hair girlies. You can let the twists marinate for a few days, throw on a hat, and you’re out the door. And when you’re ready to let the hair shine, just unravel, fluff, and you’re ready to go. Swipe to learn how you can achieve this look for a cute hair day at work, school, or an evening out.

Will you give this style a try?

Verses I highlighted and underlined last week during my time devoted to hear and learn from God.

I just finished the book of Joshua and started reading Deuteronomy, and one of the biggest takeaways is that God will fulfill every promise that He makes. He’s a faithful God that blesses His children, even when they don’t deserve it at times. He’s holy, merciful, powerful, just, and loving. He already chose us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that redeemed us from our sins and shame. Now He’s waiting for us to choose Him as our Father, Savior, Lord, and God.

I would love to hear your thoughts on these verses. God bless 🫶🏽
