Sundays are for cleaning, cat cuddles under a warm blanket and reading. Got my kindle close by I’m all set. What are you reading? Currently finishing a couple for my book club. Oops I’m Wanted Again by Sheridan Anne and No Place To Hide by Harper Ashley & Wren Hawthorne. #catcuddles #sundayvibes #whatareyoureading #currentread #readersofinstagram by @k.m.tarverauthor

The sad reality of being on social media is that everyone is trying to level up their follower count. The thing is there are a large number of us that actually want to engage with those who wander across our pages and decide they want to stick around. I’m not just an author trying to achieve my dream. I love books, reading has been a fundamentally important piece of my life since before I could even tie my own shoes. In a conversation tonight it was brought up how the staircase of social media closely resembles high school in that when you’re content is seen by many and they willfully engage with it you are popular yet if you’re at the bottom fighting just to be out of the low view range you’re the opposite. I didn’t plan to write a paragraph on all of this but it bothered me more than I care to admit. Will this change where I’m at on that staircase? I’m pretty positive it won’t but I’m human. I can’t just sit back and be someone’s doormat all so they can add that one extra number to their follower count. #readersofinsta #followercleanse #authorsofinstagram #reader #socialmediaishard by @k.m.tarverauthor

Everyone’s so serious. Not Maxwell Eastland Night Nexus’s own campus comedian. He’s on fire in his words but also he’s actually on fire as in a fireball of hot sass. Well you get the idea. Not the guy to shy away from sharing his 2 cents even if it offends the wrong person. He’s confidence, full of vigor. There’s no doubts he’s keeping Aureia as well as the other princes of Night Nexus on their toes. A massive thank you to @artsy.emilyy for knocking this one out. He was an incredible ask and I’m eternally grateful. He’s more amazing than I could have imagined. #characterdesign #bookish #newbookcrush #readerofinstagram #paranormalromance by @k.m.tarverauthor

Here’s some of my hopeful reads for fall. I’m a huge mood reader so it’s virtually impossible for me to build a set tbr and stick with it. I’ve tried a variety of ways to create on but I’m all over the place with what I’m in the mood to read. Leave some book recommendations in the comments. I’m always looking to add more to my endless tbr. #bookish #bookrecs #moodreader #bookhopefuls #callingallreaders by @k.m.tarverauthor

Let me introduce you to 2 incredible women. These ladies have been my cheering section from the moment I announced I was writing a book. They’ve shown unwavering support and have been ready to help in my author journey. I’m excited to share Lexxi @nuggs_and_glass and Shyann @shyann_rosebud agreed to be my PA’s there’s a lot to come as Bonded In Blood and Fire is closer to completion as well as my other projects get underway. Be on the lookout for all the book news. #partnersincrime #bookishbesties #bookish #authorupdate #authorlife bookishnews by @k.m.tarverauthor

Snapped these beautiful clouds as the sun was rising this morning. I’m reminded to never take the opportunity to do what I love for granted. I’d put off starting for so long, made excuses a lot of them not even my own. If you don’t reach for those goals they will just fade into the horizon much like the moon at daybreak. It’s nice to get a little bit of perspective once in a while. #enlightenment #authorsofinstagram #nature #bookish #bookstagram by @k.m.tarverauthor

Happy cat cuddle day! As if that isn’t everyday. Got my furry writing partner and it’s time to get some editing done. I’ve been working through this 🔥🌶️ scene for weeks now and it’s kept me from progressing on don’t ask me why. I have zero answers for that. Sometimes life gets in the way, other times it’s my own brain setting up a road block to halt me in my tracks. Whatever the case I’m determined to finish today so I can finally forge ahead. #editing #catcontent #author #bookcontent #darkparanormalromance by @k.m.tarverauthor

Reaching 800+ followers on here wasn’t something I ever expected to see. I’m not the best at posting and I’m still figuring out this social media stuff. I’m thankful to be a part of a community that’s as supportive and welcoming as the reader/author community is. Thank you for being here and for being as awesome as you all are ❤️ #readersofinstagram #authorofinstagram #thankyoufollowers #bookstagram #appreciationpost❤️ by @k.m.tarverauthor

This is writing weather. Chilly, foggy mornings where the air has a bite that nips at your face. The shapes of approaching vehicles are blurs until they are just upon you. These are the days I live for. What will get my creative juices flowing again after 4 days off feeling not myself. #havingoffdays #authorofinstagram #fallvibes #writing #whatinspiresyou by @k.m.tarverauthor

Got some editing done on Bonded in Blood and Fire. Also got sucked into a lot of housework, going through warm weather clothes and doing mountains of laundry 😩 the bane of my existence. Since I didn’t have much time before bed I decided to work more on another project I had started. Feeling good about my progress and I just love these characters. I had them in mind shortly after I started my debut. I can’t wait to bring Mercy and Lothaire’s story to life. #wip #newprojects #monsterromance #romancereaders #bookstagram by @k.m.tarverauthor

Hard at work over here but I wanted to share something fun. We’ve seen the heavy side of Ryland and Caedmon. Let’s have a laugh with the chuckle master. The fire elemental with smooth moves and a black belt in charisma. Maxwell Eastland turns up the dial on the thermostat to scorching hot anytime he’s nearby. Who wouldn’t want to hang out with the dude whose entire personality screams f*ck it?! In Bonded in Blood and Fire his flames aren’t the only things making it hot in here. #characterdevelopment #darkacademiabooks #editing #paranormalromance #wipupdate by @k.m.tarverauthor

The eyes are a window to the soul as they say. What if peering into their depths transported you to the deepest chasm of infinite anguish? Would you still chance the glimpse? Chase the oncoming storm building on the horizon. That’s what it’s like to get caught in Caed’s sights. You are swept in a turbulent tornado of relentless desire and hard fought resistance. Find out how he tackles the weight of his inheritance along with his attitude towards student life. Bonded In Blood and Fire once described as medium heat is actually a high heat Dark Paranormal Academia Why Choose. Our leading lady won’t have to decide between her love interests. Take the journey into Night Nexus Academy discover what mysteries await in the dark halls of this long-established world. #charactercloseup #readersofinsta #shadowdaddymmc #bookstagram by @k.m.tarverauthor
