The photos will never do it justice, you just had to be there. To say I felt awe inspired is an understatement. There are no words, simply adoration. Wandering among these ancient ruins truly made me feel like speck of dust in the Potter’s hand. I am forever grateful to have seen this in person.

Our dream stay at Via di Villa Alberici in Trastevere, Roma!

Truly felt like Belle inside the castle. Our holiday in Italy will be forever cherished with the charm & beauty of this historical home. The staff was incredibly sweet and attentive, as they eagerly shared with us its long historical roots. I only wish I had captured more to share along here but trust me when I say it is well worth the visit. Every morning we were met with a beautiful Victorian breakfast, every evening a glimpse of the Vatican setting under the Italian sun.

Oh, how you truly stole a piece of my heart!

Inside the Palace, there was a section of young Queen Victoria and her childhood that brought back memories of my own. I fondly remember our Grandma’s own handmade dollhouse with all her own handmade accessories, she truly was quite the artist!

It’s cultivated a similar aspiration in myself that I may also someday acquire for my children and grandchildren, should I be so blessed :)

Kensington Palace, where I fell in love with the life of Queen Victoria, a kindred soul it would seem. I felt like we went into a time capsule of their lives, a peek into history & the life of the Royal Family. The attention to detail and preservation of its history truly took our breath away!

Visited the “world’s smallest church” (forgot to factcheck that so don’t come for me!) & historical museum dedicated to Christopher Columbus/castle? It had a lot going on, but beautiful nonetheless!

Side note: Peyton & Parker befriended a turtle they called Snaps.

Sweet dinner & a serenade by the sea.

We took a much needed unplug & exhale holiday in Málaga, Spain to celebrate Parker turning 9 (how?!) & Bryan on Father’s Day. I cannot thank you enough, Lord, for the many blessings in my life & the people you have given me. I truly love you both with all my being, & will forever cherish these memories (many of which were undocumented, as was intended!). Here’s some of what we captured to share :)
