K-9’s Luna and Yogi are both working in Baltimore, Maryland. K-9 Luna was located as a stray in Minneapolis, MN and entered her local city shelter before being pulled by a rescue and making her way into our care. K-9 Yogi was rescued from a shelter in Texas, taken into a private home in Iowa and then entered our care. Both of these amazing K-9’s have been serving since 2023. K-9 Luna has helped take many kilos of narcotics off the streets, while K-9 Yogi has protects the courthouse and large events such as the Preakness and various other large gatherings throughout the city. Help us rescue, train and donate the next hero by donated below or through the link tree in our bio. #rescuedog #rescuedogsofinstagram #labrador #malinois taken in Baltimore, Maryland by @k9_protectors

We all know the big names in the industry—and while we’ll always love having them out for seminars and plan to continue doing so, some of the most impactful, high-level knowledge comes from the folks working under the radar.

Who is an underrated or lesser-known trainer you’ve worked with who deserves more recognition, that would be a great asset at a future seminar?

Drop their name or tag them below 👇 We’re always looking for exceptional talent to bring to future events and share with the community!

We are proud to announce that K-9 Stryker and K-9 Storm have officially been donated to the @monroepolicenj! Both canines graduate today from the Middlesex County Sheriff’s K-9 Academy. 🐾
K-9 Stryker’s Journey:
Stryker was brought to the @laanimalservices North Central Shelter as a stray, spending most days confined to a kennel 24/7 due to severe overcrowding. Shelter volunteers recognized his potential and reached out to us for help. After extensive testing, we knew he was a perfect fit. Thanks to our friends at @outtathecage, Stryker was pulled from the shelter and transferred into our care.
Though he excelled in training, Stryker spent nearly two years with us because he didn’t have the “typical” police dog look. He made the most of that time—fine-tuning his skills daily, attending seminars with world-renowned trainers, and building invaluable experience. Stryker and his handler are now ready to hit the streets and hit the ground running!
K-9 Storm’s Journey:
Formerly known as Dinozzo, Storm came to us from @pwcanimals after being found stray in an area known for dog dumping. He was adopted briefly, but returned after just two days for being “too much.” Recognizing his potential, a shelter employee sent toy hunt and environmental exposure videos to our friends at @category5k9.
Impressed by what we saw we asked our friend @nykosproject to take Storm on a field trip for further evaluation. He passed with flying colors! During his time with us—and especially over the last couple of months in handler school—Storm matured and sharpened his detection skills to perfection.
We are so grateful to Chief Banos and the Monroe Township Police Department for giving both of these incredible dogs this opportunity. We can’t wait to see them thrive!

With every dog comes new challenges, and K-9 Xena is no different. Her ability to learn the skills needed to become a successful police canine is great—how she feels about other dogs, not so much. As a forever student of dog training, I’m always working to expand my knowledge and skill set by learning from top trainers in the industry. Today I started The Infinite Approach by @k9optima to help change how Xena sees the world. #alwayslearning #dogtraining #rescuedog #rescuedogsofinstagram #workingdog taken in Antioch, California by @k9_protectors
