To everyone who's walked into Kaala, sat at our counter, and told our story with us — this one's for you.

World Coffee Day is here, and we're turning it into a full week.

Starting today, Kaala stays open 7 days straight — 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, weekends included for the first time ever. Coffee, music, and people, all week long. Every proceed, every rupee, goes to Nepal relief.

Come pour with us. Bring your crowd. Let's make some noise for something that matters.

#thepourfornepal - an initiative has been brewing silently at @kaala.bar with @differdraftdesign . We’re finally ready to keep it rolling for you guys!

Pouring coffee blindfolded is harder than it looks—and that’s exactly the point. Here is how it’s supposed to be done:

Blindfold yourself, cheers, raise a toast to a great cause, and try your hand at the Pour Challenge.

The Rules:
1. Put on a blindfold.
2. Cheers
3. Raise your cup high for a toast.
4. Pour!

The Stakes:
- Nail the pour: Enjoy free coffee on us!
- Spill or miss: Make a donation to support relief efforts in Nepal, to a cause of your choice.

The Pour.

11 days, one clue at a time. Here’s what it was building

#ThePourChallenge — for Nepal

The rules are simple:

1. Attempt the pour — pour your coffee (or chai, or anything) from one glass into another, clean, no spill.

2. Nail it? Tag 2 friends to pour next.

3. Miss it? You owe Nepal a donation — any amount, no minimum.

4. Post it, tag @thepourfornepal and @kaala.bar, use #ThePourChallenge

Send it. Show it. Donate to Kaala or any NGO backing Nepal relief — we're supporting UNFPA's fund for pregnant women. Screenshot it or share receipt, tag @kaala.bar, and we'll post it on our ledger. Every rupee, visible.

And starting tomorrow - 01.10, World Coffee Day — every single rupee we make at Kaala for one whole week goes straight to Nepal. Every cup you drink with us becomes part of this.

Last Friday: 39 cups, 30 Gitas given away, a street full of strangers laughing in the rain, and ₹6,451 raised for Nepal flood relief — 100% of that day’s proceeds, no cut. Late post, still worth it.

Quiet shoutout to @sanamvohra — no coffee just gave generously anyway for an imaginary cup and for someone in need. That’s the whole point.✌️
