Ayman Tashrif
is a Bangladeshi visual artist and a student of the Department of Media and Communication at Independent University, Bangladesh. Through layered forms and recurring motifs, his work investigates identity, isolation, growth, and the relationship between the self and the subconscious, inviting viewers into spaces of contemplation and personal interpretation.

Sadat Anwar
is a Bangladesh-based artist and university student who primarily works with ink illustrations. Inspired by manga, surrealism, horror art, and visual storytelling, his work combines detailed linework with imaginative and often unsettling imagery. His drawings often blur the line between reality and fantasy, creating dreamlike scenes that invite viewers to look beyond the familiar and discover meaning within the strange.

Nanziba M. Rahman is a Dhaka based artist. She creates traditional pen sketches and acrylic paintings mostly inspired by South Asian culture, especially her Bengali identity, blending detailed black-and-white work with vibrant, playful colors. As an architecture student, she is learning to harmonize the technical with the artistic, exploring how these worlds intersect in her unique style.

Refat Fatema is a self-taught visual artist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Although she studied Media Studies and Journalism, art has remained at the center of her life since childhood. Through her work, she explores social issues and emotional dilemmas, drawing inspiration from both personal experiences and the realities of the world around her. On the second session of TalkTalk, join us for an inspiring evening with artist Tanjila Munia @tanjilamunia -conversation, and film!
In this interactive session, Munia will dive deep into her creative work process, followed by a special screening of her latest film (film duration: 8 Minutes 36 Seconds)

22 MAY, FRIDAY, 7pm- 8 pm
Kaali’s Rooftop, 43/0-1, House Name- Malobika, 6th Floor, Indira Road, Panthopath, Dhaka.

Tanjila Biswas Munia’s photographic voice has emerged patiently over nearly seven years in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
In a landscape where a woman’s choice of such a path is often met with hesitation or constraint, she has chosen to listen instead to her own calling, quietly transgressing familial prescriptions to remain faithful to her desire.
Her practice unfolds from personal affect, emotions, memories, and inner tremors that refuse to stay unspoken. Munia treats images as a tactile language, one that invites feeling before understanding. Photography, for her, is not an occupation but a compulsion, an ongoing act of witnessing she cannot and does not wish to bring to an end. by @kaali_collective
