Asian Games 2026 - what an experience

We gave it the best we could with what we had - but these days that standard is set so high. Huge fight / effort from the team (both the boys and the management). So special to have my family there

BE THE BLUEPRINT. BUILD THE PATHWAYS.

For #NextLevelAthlete and Philippine Rugby National Team Captain Kai Stroem [ @kai_stroem ], the next level isn’t just about how far he can go — it’s about creating a path for others to follow.

From staying available and building for the long game, to learning from systems around the world and adapting them for Philippine sport, Kai is thinking beyond his own career. The goal: make the path a little clearer, the opportunities a little closer, and belief a little easier for the next generation. -

Pave the path. Build something that lasts. Bring others with you. 🇵🇭🏉

Unions Cup 2026 Champions 🫆

For the team, this was immense. New teams added to the competition, 3 games in 1 week. Huge fundraising efforts to even get feet on the ground. Old volcanoes and new volcanoes brought their own flavours to our Halo Halo. It took our entire squad of 37 men to get this job done. So proud of the boys for all of their efforts and sacrifices, and very fulfilling to get to see that rewarded first hand.

For myself, a testament to belief. Truth is I tore my hamstring 3.5 weeks before the tournament. It almost broke me, coming back from an 8 week shoulder restrengthening block, the last thing I could’ve ever hoped for was another freak incident. But it happened. And it took my village to keep me on track, beyond grateful for all of them. @junwhei

To our management team, so much gratitude for all that you do. The sacrifices you make to be with us, to make sure that we are operating to the best of our abilities with the resources we have is world class.

Helluva ride 🤠 roller coaster of a season, job done

Still surprised I was able to be there until the very end (after that guy put his head through my rib cage 5 weeks ago), must be thanks to the great people around me @coreofit_hk

Still lots to learn, even more to be grateful for 🌱

As always huge thank you to the boss for finding ways to make it all happen @katepalistroem, and of course super boss @momski_ruth by @kai_stroem

Wrapped up 2025 and entered 2026 with my nearest and dearest ❤️‍🩹

In the beginning of 2025 I saw that reel from The Office where he says “I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days before you’ve actually left them”

Spent the rest of the year trying to understand how to solve this for me. Now entering 2026, I still don’t have the answer - but I feel I am getting better at it everyday

Wishing everyone a healthy and happy 2026, stay present 🙌🏽 taken in Hallingskarvet by @kai_stroem

“Sport can be cruel sometimes - I guess that’s why we love it”

SEA Games Thailand 2025: it wasn’t our day, it wasn’t to be 💔

Pinoy puso (heart) is something we can be really proud of this season - to play a tournament with only 1 training session together, to play a tournament with 10 players, to compete against the best in Asia with some of the circumstances we had - grateful to be a part of the Volcanoes and represent all the the people who sacrifice so much to make it happen 🇵🇭🌋
