My holiday wish was to spend a white Christmas with my brothers.

Stroem boys are back together for a little ski adventure with our family at Hallingskarvet, Norway. My parents had this place built during the pandemic, this is the first time seeing the fruit of their labor.

But first, let us take in the view. 🌅 #StroemSunrise

10 years ago I tried rugby and a month later played in my first rugby tournament, the Manila 10s. 9 years ago a group of us conceptualized and executed on creating a national player pathway for Filipino athletes worldwide, the Maharlikans.

This year I returned to the Manila 10s with the first international Maharlikans squad. Truly a full circle moment to return to where it all started and walk away champions in the cup division with my day one volcano brothers along with the next generation of national athletes. The cherry on top was also making my debut as a 35 and over vet and to secure a championship for the extinction volcanoes!

Big shoutout to everyone that made this happen from leadership organizing on the backend to our sponsors and to the athletes committing and showing up.

You never know how one decision can ripple across your life. Back yourself! Enjoying the good ol days while we are still here 🤙🏽

Capping off the most epic rugby year I’ve had to date with the Southeast Asian Games. Came for the gold and left with the bronze, along with some key learnings for myself and our program.

Nothing short of grateful for the abundance of new experiences I get to share with this tribe. From new places to new faces I’ll cherish this one for years to come.

Proud to be a Volcano. Laban Pilipinas 🇵🇭 🌋
