The worst thing to ever do is not reach your goal that you’ve been praying all year for. But there’s so much more to it. It’s not all about winning all the time, it’s about the family built off of wrestling, the memories, the lessons, the ups and downs, the way of life. There’s a different way to view things. I’m more than blessed that God has given me this amazing opportunity to make it to state, it wasn’t easy but I did it. It’s not the outcome I wanted but I know he has a plan. Without him pushing me I wouldn’t be where i’m at today. Freshman Kailani never would’ve thought that I would make it to state, from suffering so much with confidence, to sophomore Kailani having Faith over Fear. It’s about the lessons that come with it, it may not always go our way but it’s Gods plan.

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with my righteous right hand.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬
