Today I made a decision to publicly declare my faith in Jesus. I am blessed beyond words and so excited for this new chapter with Christ.

For a long time going to church and being baptized was something I have always wanted to, There were things I was not able to do that were out of my control because of the household I was in. As growing up in a household where church wasn’t apart of my life, and God wasn’t something we cherished was difficult for me in some ways. I never got to grow up learning about Jesus or having an opportunity to worship in the way I wanted to, but that never stopped my heart for searching for him. If anything the distance from faith made me realize how much I truly needed God in my life. Now that I have the freedom to choose my own relationship with God without feeling stuck or embarrassed, I am going to seek Him, trust Him, and put Him in the center of my life. What I didn’t receive growing up, I am beyond grateful to receive now.

As my dad being my number one supporter I will forever thank him for what he has done for me and what he is currently doing for me

and thank you to my boyfriend and his mom for guiding me through this chapter in my life.
