ok THAT was fun🤪⚡️

First doubles in the books! I am so beyond grateful for @meganclem16 . 2020 us would be SO proud. You made this experience so enjoyable and you remain one of the most encouraging, calm and consistent people I’ve ever met. Cheers to friendship and pushing each other to do hard things!🫶🏼

And special shoutout to my Durham & Raleigh fitness communities that continue to support me throughout my Hyrox adventures! You all keep my body, mind, and heart prepped and ready to take on these things💜 taken in Houston, Texas by @kaleymorimoto

FIRST HYROX EEEKKK!

This was truly the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. In addition to the event being a challenge, I learned that balancing the training with real life is much easier said than done. HOWEVER. I left the race feeling so satisfied with not just completing it, but hitting my personal goals - which were to stay disciplined, move with intention, and to finish within 90 minutes.

The time goal was never initially there in fear of disappointment. Realistically, I had no idea how I’d fare in something like this simply because I’ve never done it. But then I realized there hasn’t been too many times where I had let myself down recently and to me, achieving a challenging (yet realistic), measurable goal was worth the risk of disappointment.

There is absolutely no way I could’ve gotten through the training or event without the support of those around me. To the instructors, staff, and community members at @reveldurham , @empiretrainingacademyraleigh , and @f45_training_olderaleigh - I have had the BEST time taking your classes and getting to know you all. The passion and dedication you all have for what you do and for your community is so admirable and deeply appreciated. I’ve loved making new friends and reuniting with old ones at your studios, places where everyone shares the same enthusiasm for fitness. You all make doing hard things a lot easier. Thank you for getting my body, mind, and heart ready for this🤍

To everyone who sent good luck texts, encouraging words and positive thoughts - thank you so so much. It meant more than you know!

Now that the solo is done, I am MORE than ready to have a partner for my next Hyrox. @meganclem16 IT’S TIME TO SLAY SISTER💗 taken in State Farm Stadium by @kaleymorimoto

Life was amazing with you (all) on the ride🫶🏼

Thank you @f45_training_shannonplaza for these amazing friends and making your last year the best one yet. Our studio has been a safe space for me the past four years and has introduced me to practically the entire city of Durham. What was once a place that seemed so big now feels like a small town. To the entire F45 SP community - you’re all badasses and it’s been an HONOR to see you all grow these past few years (as human beings and athletes). Big love to you all!🤍

Excited for our next adventure😊 taken in F45 Shannon Plaza by @kaleymorimoto
