The annual Best of Panama (BOP) concluded on August 7.

Recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious coffee competitions, BOP is not only the benchmark for quality but has also drawn global attention in recent years for repeatedly setting new world auction price records.

Hacienda La Esmeralda once again swept the Triple Crown, setting a new record of USD 30,000 per kilogram.

One by One Coffee participated in the auction and bid for the following lots:

– Exclusive winning bid for Sidra Pentagon – Mil Cumbres Coffee Farm in the Varietals Category

– Joint bids for Gesha Category lots N3, N18, W14, and W19

These exceptional, limited-edition lots will soon be available at our locations in Tokyo (Japan), Taizhou (China), and Ningbo (China), bringing coffee lovers an unparalleled taste of terroir.

一年に一度開催される「Best of Panama（BOP）」が、8月7日に閉幕しました。

世界最高峰のコーヒー品評会として知られるBOPは、品質の象徴であるだけでなく、近年ではオークション価格の世界記録をたびたび更新することで世界中の注目を集めています。

エスメラルダ農園は今年も三冠を達成し、1キロあたり3万米ドルという新たな記録を樹立しました。

One by One Coffeeはオークションに参加し、以下のロットを競り落としました。

– 多品種部門で Sidra Pentagon – ミル・クンブレス農園を独占落札

– ゲシャ部門で N3、N18、W14、W19 を共同落札

これらの極上かつ数量限定のロットは、順次東京（日本）、台州（中国）、寧波（中国）の各店舗に登場し、比類なきテロワールの味わいをお届けします。

At 1,753 meters (5,752 feet) above sea level, with stunning views of Panama and Costa Rica, the 51-hectare plantation produces several high-altitude specialty coffee varieties, including Geisha, Pacamara, and Caturra. Furthermore, our coffee trees are surrounded by natural tropical forest, Persian limes, and other citrus fruits. Due to its exceptional flavor and the quality of its beans, Kalithea is one of Panama’s most important and promising coffee plantations.

In 2015, our Caturra won first prize in the “”Best of Panama”” (BOP) Traditional Washed Coffee competition.

Over the years, we have continued to participate and qualify for the BOP, as was the case this year with our special Geisha Washed lot, which we hand-select from the finest ripe cherries and then undergo a series of quality controls before reaching the African sun-drying beds. This batch promises a series of spectacular floral notes and aromas. by @kalitheacoffee

El Geisha es una variedad original de café que fue descubierta en los años 30 en las montañas alrededor de un pueblo llamado Geisha, al sureste de Etiopía. Los árboles Geisha crecen alto, se pueden distinguir por sus hermosas hojas alargadas. La calidad de éste café se mejora drásticamente cuando se cultiva a alturas extremamente elevadas.
