💐For the Errie to my Errieka and (j)Errieko

To a man who showed me some revolutions are silent
To the safest place I’ve ever known to put my crazy artist dreams
To sincere eyes that affirm neither path nor direction, but possibility…

🥂Honoring your memory by taking the leap to live and make those dreams a reality. by @kam.ziii

🌟Recommitting to growth on my own terms

When I can’t find the words for how I feel, I draw — it’s become my daily way of checking in and having a conversation with myself.

Drawing outside lets me feel my way into new places with my pen and colours. It grounds me and helps balance the worlds I move through, inside and out. I’m learning to get comfortable being seen in progress, and I love watching things grow beyond the cave. taken in Casco Antiguo, Ciudad De Panama by @kam.ziii

@kazillion.kollectiv is a living, evolving ecosystem: part production studio, part gathering space.

Like the parable of Stone Soup, this space has grown through shared effort and curiousity. In the story, a traveler begins making soup with only a stone—an inedible object, yet one that sparks curiosity. Little by little, others contribute vegetables, spices, herbs and soon, something nourishing is created that no one could have made alone.

Here, I think of the artworks as the “stones”—beautiful, yes, but not sustaining on their own. Still, they’re the catalyst: the thing that invites others in. You can’t eat the stone, but it’s what starts the conversation, what calls us together around the pot. What role does beauty play in sustaining a community? What does it mean to create something that feeds the soul?
This event, and the works shared within it, are only possible because others showed up with their own “ingredients.” My family, who gave me the room to grow and evolve. My mother, Deb—the builder who provided the pot for this soup: the foundation, the space, the choatic container for transformation.

We’re looking ahead to new possibilities—developing practices that are not only creative, but sustainable, rooted in care and collaboration. The work continues, and the soup is still simmering.

Let’s keep cooking.

🌃When the Night Changes🏙️
Opening Night

I started painting five years ago to record with colour the words I was not yet ready to write. I’ve written, but I’ve painted more.

Some chapters we listen, some we speak. Some we need to learn to do both. I learnt to listen to myself in ways I couldn’t do out loud when I painted. I found my voice in silence and my stories in pictures.

Now, I’m learning to give myself grace as I learn to let the words leave my lips as freely as they do through my fingertips. Learning to let go and let it move me.

✨Here’s to more moments of creation, exploration. Thanks for being part of this chapter! 💫

What unlikely mediums have you discovered dialogue in?
