I still freekin got it.. A continuous style braze, trying to match the factory style brazing on this Harris frame made in 1984. I used todo allot of this style before trying to achieve the big coin stop and start style. This method requires an almost perfect set flame for your material thicknesses and your rod size to match your speed of work/flow. These ribs in the bronze solidify about 1-3 coins behind your flame depending on the speed and variables at play. Apologies for not posting in a while.. The last 18 months have been pretty busy. 99% of the work I’m involved with has some very strict NDA’s attached. I’m extremely grateful to be involved with my various clients and look forward to continuing doing some of my best work to date. I have been itching for some time to do some more brazing content, it’s something I miss and look forward to sharing more process and learning content with you all soon, all thou, I think I’m more proficient at titanium purge welding now 👌🏼 just creeping past my 2nd kilometer of titanium filler wire this week.. my gas supplier said yesterday “you must have 5 guys welding constantly using this much gas?” He was shocked to hear It was just myself.. 😂… 🤔 #solduramotorsport #tigwelder #argonaddicts #bronzebrazing by @kam_fab

Back when I used to braze Rolls Royce Merlin engine frames for WW2 Mosquito Aircraft, circa 1942 😂 very cool project around 10 years ago.. My Grandmother was a flight controller in Southampton during the second world war, she used to tell us some incredible stories about those times.. Wow ❤️ today my brazing lesson on YouTube reached 1,000,000 views… I’m completely shocked, I find it really funny actually. I’ve tried really hard in the past to make decent videos on YouTube, spending ages editing ect, for this video I simply put my phone on the bench and recorded myself talking about doing a simple joint on a motorcycle frame, it’s actually the only video never watch on my own channel, but I do enjoy the comments at times, of which there are over 1,500, mostly Americans losing their shit, which is fun..
