Local motorsport engineer & fabricator Harry @kam_fab from @soldura_motorsport paid us a visit this week after hearing about our race sims.

Anybody that’s ever used our sims will appreciate exactly how hard they are to control.

Anybody that’s ever tried drifting on our sims will appreciate that it’s near impossible.

Until Harry strapped in.

This guy’s car control is absolutely out of this world and we ended up with so much footage that it’s been tough condensing it down to an instagram friendly length so we’ll put the full videos on our YouTube channel

My purge bowl welding setup. All made from stainless steel. The argon is fed through the bottom creating a fully inert environment to weld exotic materials. I use this device for welding small titanium items, the ball bearings act as a heat soak which removes heat away from the job and also secure a decent “ground”, whilst holding the item secure and also allowing good gas diffusion, less gas turbulence around the item..overall it has increased my productivity on batch work, lowered my argon use, and produces a far nicer finish than external gas shielding.. Really happy to help @jordangilbertson_farriery make his Farrier mobile workstation a reality.. The anvil is mounted to a mechanical arm which is driven by a 24v ram. The top draw mounts a pillar drill, with the lower draw mounting a 7” grinder. This provides Jordan with a dry area to work to make and fit horse shoes. Above the center section houses a mobile furnace! I’m really chuffed how this has turned out.. Hope this serves him well for many years to come.. Our low budget tube notcher has been fun to make, using an SIP inverted pillar drill and a heavily modified Stakeseys vice style notcher. An all in one unit, on wheels allowing me to tube notch over the existing table. No more twisting wrist using a hand drill anymore!
