Today marks 200 years of photography. I’m just a drop in the bucket of image history! These photos were taken on both of my grandfathers’ cameras that have crossed decades and continents to land in my hands. What an honor.

I’m grateful for the trust and responsibility that hundreds of people have put into me to capture faces, lineages and histories. Photography is profound and complicated, even more so in this digital world. I pray to deepen my practice until all that’s left of me are photographs. 🩶 by @kamelworld
