I travel for food and my kids. But mostly the food. 🍽️👧🏾

Traveling with four kids, eating really well, and actually having fun sounds impossible but somehow, I make it work ✅

I’m so thankful I get to work remotely cause it gives me freedom.
And the real secret? We use @homeexchange
We get to stay in beautiful, family-friendly homes all over the world, for free with our membership.

So yup, this is how I save money so I can eat my way through town and my kids can have more fun.

If you’ve ever wondered how families actually travel, eat well, and survive then let’s connect.

Comment HOME and I’ll tell you everything 💕
(my referral code is in my bio too)

Letting go of 2025🍃 It’s been filled with changes and ups and downs 🫠

✅2025 - I decided to do more public speaking, I created @baby.fete, relaunched @mamahoodbk, and we keep pushing weFETE further

👎🏾My work life changed drastically over the summer and as an entrepreneur it’s been tiring af - so I need some blessings for 2026

And I’ve been, I guess chronically ill since September and even ended up in the horrid ER so I’m gonna need my health to power up cause I got ish to do

I went to Trinidad Carnival, my oldest turned 21, I was the PTA president and loved it but they hated me 😅, I cursed out NYC private schools that accepted my child and then asked for $60k a year, I lost weight, I gained weight, and I ate really good food 🤭

And thank god I’m here cause a lot of the good ones are not 💕

Scotch & Bonnet is officially open for preorder. 🌶️

We tested these pieces at First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum this summer and people kept asking where to get them.

So now there’s an online store. Adult shirts, kids tees, and totes for anyone who wants to carry a little culture to the fete, the market, or around town.

Everything is a preorder and ships October 20th. Use code SOCA for 10% off your first order.

More designs are coming. For now, grab your favorite and tell me how spicy you are. 🔥

Remember the superlative awards in the high school senior yearbook? Yeah, I didn’t get any, not even Most Likely to Love Soca Forever 🫠

So we gave out superlatives to our Camp weFETE Campers 🏆

Swipe to see who took home the titles, and tag your people in the comments. If you were there, tell us if we got it right.

And we still owe a few of you an award. Let us know what your award should be 💡

Swipe through every team, then vote in the comments by dropping the team color. Team members, vote for yourselves, we’d expect nothing less.

Calling @bunjigarlin @klassikfresco @machelmontano @leadpipe_official to the polls too. 😅

Swipe and vote. We’ll see if the people agree with the judges.

This is the group that made Camp weFETE what it was! 🥰

We showed up as strangers, and by Sunday we were a whole crew with inside jokes and crazy stories. Thank you for being exactly the kind of people we hoped would come. Camp weFETE, we miss you already. 😭

Pls tag urself! And if u wanna come next year, click the link in bio to get on our waitlist.

We voted to keep it intimate so there’ll be limited spots.

3 days out from Camp weFETE!

There’s a nor’easter headed for NYC this weekend. But we’ll be safe and fireside in the Catskills.

Tomorrow’s the cutoff for Camp weFETE. If this has been sitting in the back of your mind, today’s the day you decide.

Fireside nights, horseback riding, pajama jam, soca all weekend, with your soca community.

4 spots left. Use code SOCA for $50 off, today only. Once they’re gone, that’s it, no exceptions.

Save my spot → wefetemas.com/camp
