Hey everyone!

Here's a new video! I'm excited to be sharing this one with you, but before I go into the details of the song, I wanted to share something I've noticed. I recorded this video last year and decided to release it now because I didn't feel it was the right time. I kept holding it back, waiting and waiting for the right moment. Although there are things that are ALL about right timing, there was something underneath my feeling for "perfect moment" or "perfect set up" that had nothing to do with perfection at all. Sharing my voice is one my greatest pleasures and also the most vulnerable experience, especially when it came to sharing my stories. You can imagine what was underneath the "perfection" when feeling vulnerable ;). There's growth in all of this and with that, I'm SO excited that I will be sharing MORE music and videos soon!

This song is called "Gente Humilde" which means 'humble people' in Portuguese. It is by the great Brazilian composer, Garoto, and lyrics by Vinicius de Moraes and Chico Buarque. This song is very close to my heart. It was one of the first songs I remember my dad singing when I was a kid. I remember giggling when I heard some words becaue I didn't know what they meant. It's one of the most beautiful melodies. Every time I sing it, I feel softer and I feel all the love for my dad. I hope you enjoy this beautiful song as much as I enjoy singing it 💛

Click on the link in my bio to watch the whole video. And if you enjoyed it please share. Now more than ever, we need to share more beauty and togetherness.

Thank you for watching!

Vocals: Yours truly
Guitar: my dear friend, Mitchell Long @mlongtones

Check 1, 2…🎤🎶
Every time I work with @christian_seitz, it’s always full of music and creativity, but never have I left a trip without doing some kind of MIC TEST!! Never met an individual with such a collection and such a passion for them! And what best way to test these mics than to sing a little WICKED a cappella huh??? Sorry no reverb guys…just raw vocals for ya. 🩷🫧. @sirgregwells what mics did you guys end up using for this one???

Guuuyyyssssss! Happy to share that the recent dubbing project I was SO excited to be part of, is now available to watch! (And listen😉). Watch “Benefits with Friends” on @hulu starring the absolute stellar superstars @brunamarquezine and @sergio_malheiros in this rom-com that is just a JOY to watch! I had the incredible pleasure (and challenge!🤩) to do the English dub for Bruna Marquezine’s character, Bia. Man! What a character and what an actress! I had so much fun and learned a lot. Hope you check out the show and my voice 😉😆..but if you speak Portuguese, do watch it in the original language, it’s just so good! A special thank you to @sophiakiapos for your direction, staying true and honoring the on-screen actor’s work. Shoutout to @pixelogicmedia and the whole team and to @thebrazilionaire doing the voice of Victor, I loved your work! And a big shout to writer and director @omatheussouza and his whole team for creating this great show! What a gem. Go waaaatch!

🇧🇷 Galeraaaaaaaaa! Me diverti e aprendi muito! Ah! O título original é “O Amor da Minha Vida.” Assistem!!!
