Why be normal when I can be quirky? 😜🤓🙃 I love my home and the ones that fill it; and I love positivity.

I have amazing coworkers.

Look what Monique got me! Aren’t they cuuute?!? They’re chips and salsa plushies! They magnetize to each other too.

Also, not shown, she got me a magnet that says “We’ll figure it out,” and that for sure has been our motto lately.

Love these gals I work with so much! by @karachele

Practical Magic 2 was great! Was it as good as the first? Well, the 90s charm is just too hard to beat, so, no. Without giving too much away, I enjoyed the story, there’s more magic, and I thought that they did a really good job re-casting Sally’s daughters, Kylie and Antonia, now that they’re older. by @karachele

Me and my bestie went and had a blast painting some flowers tonight. This was a late, late joint 40th birthday celebration for the two of us. Hers was July 27th, mine was August 14th. Life was just busy “lifing” as they say so we scheduled this and made the best of the delay.

We went and had lunch together at Bread Cheese Wine in Soma before the class and that was amazing!

Both of our paintings came out top notch and each one as unique as the painter. A tip of the hat to the teacher for doing such a great job. I *will* be back to do this again.

Robin Jolly Zukowski, there’s still so many memories left to make together, but this one will be one of my favorites. I love you so much!! taken in Painting with a Twist by @karachele

Started off my 40th birthday with fun decorations complete with a tiara and sashes, brownies, a candle, and a Starbucks gift card from my beloved office mates Monique McPheeters and Brandy Robinson! Then I got home from my half day of work to find a beautiful bouquet of roses and a card from my husband Michael Miller and a sweet card and cookies from his mom Linda Porschen-Miller. Now, I’m almost halfway to OKC with Michael and my mom Tracy L Campos to spend the weekend having some fun. I roped in my sister Christina Arjona Schenk and her clan for the excitement since they are so close to OKC anyways. Gonna have some Johnny Carino’s tonight (omg 🤤), try to find indoor activities to do in the morning, enjoy the pool at our hotel for a couple of hours with my nieces tomorrow afternoon, then do a double date with the Schenks at Ramsay’s Kitchen for dinner tomorrow night. No plans yet for Sunday morning but we might find something quick to do before hitting the road back home.

Thank you to all who have wished me a happy birthday. by @karachele

This morning was absolutely beautiful! Mike, his mom, and I went to Indian Lake in Austin to soak up some sun and splash in the water a bit. We packed a little picnic and the weather stayed pleasant until about 1 when the heat started to roll in. by @karachele

Seriously though. Don’t even spend money on cat toys. They’ll literally entertain themselves in on paper, plastic, cardboard, and elastic hair ties. by @karachele

It’s incredibly hard to believe that you are graduating high school next Sunday because I swear you grew up over night. Can’t wait to cheer you on across that stage and onward into your future. Girl, it’s looking bright! 😎 Love you beyond measure!
