Class of 01! I definitely did not do my yearbook editor duties and take enough photos. What a fun evening catching up with some friends 25 years later. It’s funny how everything g changes but some things always stay the same.

California Cavern was quite impressive! I’ve never been to our local caverns (and they don’t measure up to what we saw in Europe) but it was still very cool to see (and I learned some things too!). If you haven’t been it’s worth the short drive! by @karalynne17

Friday Night Lights with my little man. He felt like he was meeting celebrities, is excited to work out with Coach Richardson, is rooting for the bulldogs to score 100 points in a game, and even warmed up on the sidelines in case they needed him to go in. Folsom pulled off a great win in OT against Rocklin and I have a forever sideline date in Kai now.

I cannot believe my first baby is 19 today. The one who made me a mama and helped me grow up, learn to love, and show me that our hearts can live outside our body.

I wish parenting came with a handbook… because God knows we need it as mamas. The deep love a mom feels is completely unfathomable, unmeasurable and unimaginable until you are a mother yourself. Birthdays of our children are the most precious day to a mom (even more so than their own)- it’s the day that they finally got to know the person they have grown and loved before ever coming earth-side and they get to celebrate and honor their baby every year once they are here with us, who they have grown to be and all that they will be.

Raising a baby (especially when you are growing up yourself) is one of the hardest, but most rewarding jobs in existence. Mistakes are made, you question everything, relive and rehash what went wrong and what went right. I sometimes wish I could go back and right some wrongs, but then I remember we are all human and we all make mistakes. Mistakes are okay, as long as you learn from them- and sometimes that learning takes longer than we expect or longer than we’d like.

I hope you know just how much you are loved, adored and believed in baby girl. I love you with all my heart. Happy 19th Birthday. by @karalynne17
