To know my parents is to fall in love with them. Doug is an audacious spirit with a mischievous sense of humor that never fails to leave a lasting impression. He will sport a zebra velvet tuxedo even at the most formal of black tie affairs. Jasmine is kindness personified. She exudes a generosity of spirit in everything she does - from her humanitarian work to her friendships.

Today, they're celebrating 40 years.

My parents have a knack for defying expectations, and this week they embarked on their latest adventure. They've shed all of their earthly belongings to travel the world. No more fixed address, they've reduced their lives to a small storage unit. And, as always, they are hand in hand.
