TALES FROM THE CRYPT 💀🦇

Where shadows whisper, the dead never truly rest, and every step into the darkness feels like an invitation to something sinister… 🕯️⚰️

How brave are you? Would you dare to step inside, knowing something might be waiting for you in the dark? 👀

Me? I’m just psycho enough to wander in with a smile on my face, like I belong there. Not a scream. Not a shiver. Maybe I’m the thing they should be afraid of 😈😉

But I know a few people who would absolutely shit their pants before even crossing the threshold 😂💩 #highgatecemetery #london #crypts #coffins by @kari.is.me

🐾October 27 – A Day to Remember Our Beloved Pets 🤍🪽

They say that on this special day, the souls of our beloved pets return home to visit us 🌈✨

I want to believe that today my boys are running back to me, happy, with wagging tails, just like they used to. That even though I can no longer hold them in my arms, love still finds its way between our worlds 🥹❤️

Because some paws may leave our lives, but they never leave our hearts.

I’ll be waiting for you my sweet boys. Always🐾🤍 #october27 #belovedpets #ilovemydogs #Kodi #Max by @kari.is.me

Nobody talks about how hard it is to rewire your mind to allow good things to happen freely in your life after all the trauma and pain you’ve experienced.
And yet, blessings do exist, good people do exist, a better and lighter life does exist. We just have to learn that we can simply allow these things to happen and to be 🥹🫶 #lifeisgood #believeingood #blessings by @kari.is.me

So… I could cook you this because I probably would want to at some point if I loved you. BUT… If you’re a grown man who still expects a woman to cook your meals, clean up after you, and take care of your basic responsibilities, that’s not being traditional. That’s being dependent.

Being a man doesn’t mean being helpless when it comes to everyday life. Knowing how to feed yourself, keep your home clean, and handle your own responsibilities is a part of being a functioning adult. Self-sufficiency is very attractive.

A woman should be your partner, not your mother or personal maid.

Basic life skills have nothing to do with gender. They have everything to do with maturity, respect, and accountability. So stop being useless and a burden. Because depending on women for survival isn’t masculine at all. IT’S ACTUALLY EMBARRASSING AS HELL 😂😂😂 #truth #goodfood #homemademeal #polishcuisine #autumnvibes by @kari.is.me

UNKNOWN. One word beneath her photograph. And somehow, it broke my heart 💔

Of all the things I saw at the Royal Air Force Museum in London, this photograph touched me in a way I cannot quite explain.

Just look at her. So young. So beautiful. That gentle expression, those eyes looking at something or someone. A face from another lifetime, yet somehow so familiar.

I stood there wondering who she was. What was her name? What did her voice sound like? What made her laugh? Was she in love? Did she have someone waiting for her at home? What did she dream of becoming when the war was over? Did she survive? Did she grow old? Did she get to live the life she imagined? The life she fought for… I don’t know. And that’s what hurts the most.

UNKNOWN.

Not because she didn’t have a name. Not because her life didn’t matter. But because somewhere along the way, her name became separated from her story.

She was somebody’s daughter. Perhaps somebody’s sister, sweetheart or best friend. She had a world of her own, filled with ordinary moments, hopes and memories. And now, all these years later, here she is. A beautiful young woman in uniform, looking back at a world that has changed beyond anything she could have imagined.

I wish I knew her name. I wish I could thank her personally. But perhaps remembrance begins with something as simple as stopping in front of a photograph and refusing to see just another anonymous face from history.

Because she was never unknown to the people who loved her.

And for a brief moment, standing there in that museum, she wasn’t unknown to me either.

I saw her.

And I will remember her ❤️

To the girl whose name I may never know: I hope life was kind to you. And wherever your story led, I hope you knew that you mattered.

UNKNOWN to history. But never without a story 🕊️

While some girls dream of fancy restaurants, luxury boutiques and picture-perfect spots, I find beauty in places where history still breathes. Where silence speaks louder than words. Where the past is not just something you read about, but something you can almost feel beneath your fingertips.

And that is exactly how I felt at the Royal Air Force Museum in London 🇬🇧

I walked among aircraft that once ruled the skies, flown by men who were not just pilots, but sons, brothers, husbands and fathers. Men who climbed into those cockpits not knowing whether they would ever return home. And women, too. Brave, extraordinary women who took to the skies, defied expectations and proved that courage, determination and the love of freedom have never belonged to one gender. Their stories deserve to be remembered just as much.

I stood in front of objects that once belonged to real people. People with dreams, fears, families and futures. Some of whom gave their lives defending their country, their people and the freedom we so easily take for granted today.

Being able to step inside, touch pieces of the past and walk between those magnificent machines was something I will never forget. Because these were not just aircraft. They were once someone’s last hope, someone’s greatest responsibility, someone’s final journey.

And for some, in the words of Winston Churchill, it was “their finest hour”.

I stood there, decades later, free to admire the very machines in which others had once risked everything for that freedom. I felt admiration. I felt sadness. I felt overwhelming gratitude. And above all, I felt honoured.

Honoured to stand where the stories of extraordinary courage are still alive. Honoured to witness what remains of a generation that sacrificed so much so that future generations could live in freedom.

And there I was.

Just a girl from the modern world, standing among the ghosts of heroes, grateful for a freedom she was born into but others had to fight for.

Lest we forget 🕊️
