We are witnessing the dismantling of our food system.
95% of farmers are forced to leave their land, just as the new farming season begins. This endangers Lebanon’s food sovereignty and put us all at risk.
Also, 16,400 people have decided to stay in their villages south of the Litani, while roads are becoming dangerous and access is shrinking.
Beit el Baraka is on the ground, running 17 shelters. To date, we offered 102,637 meals, 760 blankets, and we delivered 12 tons of food, 14,900 canned products, and 1,200L of oil south of the Litani.
And it is still not enough.
We must double our efforts!

Access is shrinking, and the risks are rising.
We cannot watch Lebanon’s food system collapse from the sidelines.
Support @beitelbaraka ‘s emergency relief efforts to reach the 16,400 people remaining south of the Litani.
We have until April 8th to maximize this next convoy.

16,400 people have chosen to remain in their villages along the border, south of the Litani River, to protect their land.

Today, we successfully dispatched a first convoy of food trucks, following a failed attempt last week due to the destruction of key bridges.
