Behind the @Bellagio Conservatory’s Autumn masterpiece is a collaboration of insane ambition.

Art director & designer Ed Libby, along with horticulture specialists, engineers and artisans @prophousedesign have orchestrated a seasonal transformation that redefines luxury hospitality.

The numbers alone tell a story of uncompromising vision: 700,000 individually placed autumn leaves creating a canopy of color. Mushroom topiaries constructed of 31,000 carnations. A 16-foot heirloom pumpkin that required its own structural engineering.

Autumn has become architecture in Las Vegas.. and I can’t wait to see what Christmas holds!

The Craft of Creative: Inside Mindy Weiss’s theatrical approach to Halloween for @kimkardashian

@mindyweiss doesn’t just do decor, she engineers installations.

This retrospective of 2022 & 2023 Halloween at Kim’s Hidden Hills estate captures what happens when vision, execution and resources converge at the highest level.

Skeleton trees that demand structural engineering. Bespoke hand molds of Kim’s friend and family. Mummies and figures fit for a museum. Every element serves the narrative.

Did the roaring 20’s invent the Halloween party as we know it?

The first mass producers of paper holiday decor Dennison Manufacturing shifted society to associate decorations with theatrics & fun that inspired people to host PARTIES!

They published the Bogie Book: a mail-order catalog and inspiration guide for party planners.

These curated guides on decor, hosting and costumes propelled halloween to major social event by the 1920’s. Fast forward 100+ years later, and Halloween is still one of the biggest nights of the entire year.

And this year? Halloween lands on a Friday. If you’re not doing something with this, we need to talk. by @karinafarris

As a kid, I never fully understood what my entrepreneur parents did. Like many children, I saw them working but didn’t grasp the depth of their perseverance and ability to create something from nothing.

Growing up in a family business, I watched my dad come up with “groovy” ideas year after year. My mom was always the voice of reason, and the glue to make sure every idea and product was grounded in reality.

For 30 years, retail buyers stepped into our showroom to experience the world of wholesale decor my parents built. Last year, I demoed the space and had the privilege to design a showroom that reflects the next chapter of @farrisilk

The last 6 years have been a rollercoaster, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Family business comes with its ups and downs, but with this team, I’m ready for what’s next.
