T•W•E•N•T•Y 🎂 Happiest 20th Birthday Madelyn. As our firstborn, you helped shape us into parents. You made me a mom and it’s been one of the greatest joys of my life 🥹💕 And even though you are no longer a teenager, I pray you will always need your mama🫶🙏 (call me ANYTIME you want an adventure OR to spill the tea 😊)
I’m so glad we got to celebrate you before sending you off to Switzerland 🏔️🇨🇭. We are missing you today 🥹💝 but love knowing you are being celebrated well amongst so many new friends!

To everyone else here…join me in wishing Maddy the happiest birthday yet! 🎉🤍🎂🤩🙌
We love you @maddy_sammons

Senior Night Recap with @newalbany_xctf
It was so wonderful celebrating all these fabulous seniors. After recognition, the whole team did a *fun run* capped off with a 100m dash 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃‍♀️
Our #sweetsixteen runners know how to work hard and play hard too. 🤩🎉
This is Connor’s main sport so it was a big night for our family. 🥹🫶💛
Thankfully Emily joined this amazing XC team so I can hold on a little longer. 😊
We love you @connorsammons10 and so proud of all your accomplishments being part of this team.
And we know the best is yet to come!! 🙌👏🤌#letsgo

Lausanne, Switzerland.
Another captivating and thriving city on Lake Geneva (Lac Leman) and very close to the French border. It’s a fascinating fusion of Swiss and French cultures blended together. We spent Saturday navigating the city and getting a few more items on Maddy’s list for her upcoming semester with YWAM.
Sunday we were greeted at the train station by the YWAM bus and transported up the mountains to @ywamlausanne which was founded in 1969. A rich, wonderful YWAM history here at this base.
It was an honor to spend the afternoon with Maddy, exploring the campus and meeting some incredible friends she will be studying the Bible and traveling with over the next 3 months.

Please cover her snd her team in prayer as they started classes today! They will split their time between Switzerland and many other locations while studying through the entire Bible in 3. months. Her specific secondary program is called: Bible Core Course {On Location}!
What a joy and honor!

Spent all day soaking up the sunshine and mountain fresh air on this hike to summit Bryndli from Gimmelwald. We returned to the same spot I summited and fell in love with 25 years ago. 🏔️🇨🇭

Dream come true to travel to Switzerland with my daughter to accompany her to another YWAM experience this fall. We decided to make some room in the schedule for exploring the country before I help get her settled in Lausanne later this week.
Hope you enjoy these little highlights from our first day the Swiss Alps 🏔️
